A lot of young talent in the 15th this year. Who are those making noise for teams in your region?

Maybe not so much this year, but these 4 schools have some really good talent coming up in the 16th region IMO.

Morgan County's Lady Cougar team will be pretty skilled within the next year or two. Sure they will miss Lesley a lot, but girls who are playing now are freshmen and sophomores and are already a sound bunch of players. We also count on Coach Brown to help them hone their skills.

Bre Fraley, 8th grade, plays for East Ridge and had as many as 26 points in a game that I know of. Holly McCarty, sophomore, has shown an amazing talents for years as well.

Letcher Central has several 8th graders that will be contributing to the varsity before long, possibly next year. They are from Letcher, Cornett, the Nichols twins, and Campbell. This does not include the ones from other schools that Coach Adams will be getting

Betsy Layne has a great talent in TJ Tackett and Allen Central has a great talent with Amber Shepherd. Both are 8th graders.
Paintsville has some very nice talent in the lower classes. Frosh Leah Vanhoose is very good, 8th grader Hansford is really putting up great minutes in Varsity games, and 7th grader Shelby Carroll just might end up being better than both of her older sisters (Kendra, Soph guard @ Western Carolina, and Laura, Sr. @ PHS)

Are Baldwin and Hansford seeing any Varsity minutes?

The team is not losing a great deal when she enters. Erin does see action when she can and is going to be pretty good, she has a nice shot but just isn't ready for varsity speed yet.

Sheldon Clark has great young talent! There middle school team has been good for a couple years. But this is suppose to be about middle schoolers, not freshman like some people where throwing in the mix. Letcher Co. does have some good middle schoolers too. That Eldridge girl is good and doing bif things right now as an 8th grader, Letcher Elem. produced some good ones too. Our Martin Co. girls actually played a few of those LC teams this year and it was good matchups. That Kelah girl is tough though, and that Breeding girl as well! Can't wait to see these girls in the future!

I think let em play was referring to post #13 that said it wasn't a thread for freshman.
