A London gym has introduced an unusual fitness program that replaces dumbbells with human weights, including midgets.
These don't talk
Richard Hilton, owner of Gymbox at Bank, said the fitness regime isnât a gimmick but rather the âultimate embodiment of the visualization theory,â Adelaide Now reports.
The human dumbbells, who shout encouragement to the lifters, wear black leotards with their weights printed across their chests and sit on adapted machines for visualization.
Human weights range from 341-pound âSuper Humanâ Matt Barnard, 37, to 66-pound âDainty Divaâ Arti Shah, 32, a female midget.
Hilton claims creating a mental image of what you want to happen is proven to improve physical and psychological performance.
