Alabama guard Ronald Steele has left the Bama team because of a heel injury. Steele also missed last season because he had to have surgery on both knees.
Steele is only one of two players to recored 1000+ points and 400+ assists.

Sad to see. He had a ton of potential. Hopefully he will get his degree and be successful in something else.

Hate to hear about this. He was a very good player for them.

Rumor is the injury has very little to do with why he hung it up... that differences in thinking with those of the coaches played a major role in this one... we'll see

Ronald Steele couldn't seem to catch a break at Alabama with injury. I wish him the best of luck!

I hate to see this. Even though I don't like Bama, I always thought he was a good player. He always competed and was one heck of a player. Best of luck to him in life!!
