Knott County Central Patriots wins against clay co in the finals.

I think it will be Hazard against either PCC or LCC.

Well I wanna say KCC and Hazard but the way KCC has been playin lately, I just don't know. KCC and PCC haven't played yet, so I can't say that PCC isn't good, but they will have home court advantage. I still say KCC will do pretty good, and leave it at that.

I think KCC and hazard are in the same bracket so im gonna say PCC and KCC with perry by 3 with homecourt advantage

This seems to me to be a 14th region tournament. It would have been nice to have seen SV, Corbin, south laurel and Knox central in the tourney...I am sorry but I think this is the weakest WYMT ever...

I think they should have been thrown in too it would have been a lot more fun to watch..but i dont see how you can say this is the weakest wymt ever

That is true and let me clarify myself. I am not blaming the WYMT committee because they do invite some teams that decline to play. They then go down a list and try to get the best teams that are left keeping in mind that all three regions need to be represented as best as possible. I was just saying it would have been nice to have seen a tournament with those other good teams in it but I am sure they declined their invitation. Teams are limited to the number of games they can play in a season and some tournaments only count as one game so some teams I am sure declined to play in other tournaments. This comes into play with ALL A teams because the State ALL A tournament is not sactioned by the KHSAA and every game you play goes against the 24 that you are eligible to play. That is why if some ALL A teams make it far in the tourney they have to cancel some games out late in the season to not go over the 24 limit.

I have heard that SV and South Laurel were both invited, but turned down the invitation.

With the addition of Back to Hazard, that gives them some help at the guard spot for Whitaker. Will definitely help to guard Stamper and Cox a lot better, then Hazard will dominate on the inside too. Hazard to the finals. Perry is playing well and should have to play a good game to beat either Letcher or Clay on Friday night! Should be a great tourney, and I see Hazard and Perry in the finals for a Barnburner and a packed house! Hazard by 3 and a Back 3 at the Buzzer!

GURU - I wouldn't be too quick to discount Clay Co or LCC. both teams can play tough. Hazard is good, but they shouldn't overlook these two teams.

PCC does have a home court advantage and for some reason they always seem to come out better that way. Probably my least favorite place to see my teams play. Obviously not a PCC fan.

I'm going to step out on a limb and give Hazard the nod. I believe they will start playing some ball now. Football players should be acclamated to playing basketball by now.
