Elliot County certainly has their work cut out for them in this one, a very impressive 16 team field.
Based on ESPN's Fab 50, there are currently 4 of the Top 25 teams in the country. The field also features Boys and Girls, NY which only fell out of the Top 50 this week, and Cedar Hill, TX which is ranked #6 in the Southwest Region and would be in the 50-60 range of teams nationally, and MLK Jr, California which is #12 in the West.
Teams of Note:
St. Patrick, NJ #2 in Nation: 5 Star Dexter Strickland (UNC), 3 Star Paris Bennett (George Mason, 4 Star JR Kyrie Irving. 3 Star JR Markus Kennedy
Arlington Country Day, FL #15 in Nation: 5 Star Wally Judge (K State), 4 Star Rodney McGruder (K State)
Marietta Wheeler, GA #21 in Nation: 3 Star Tahj tate, 4 Star Ari Stewart (Wake Forest), 4 Star Richard Howell (NC State), 3 Star JR Phil Taylor
Patterson Catholic, NJ #24 in Nation: 3 Star Lance Brown (Fordham), 3 Star JR Trevor Clemmings
Additionally:
Fayette County, GA- 4 Star Noel Johnson (USC)
Cedar Hill, TX: Shawn Glover (Utah)
MLK, Jr., CA: 4 Star Kawhi Leonard (San Diego State)
Southside, SC: 2 Star Robbie Dreher (Winthrop), 2 Star Quinton Thomas (Wyoming)
Pennsbury, PA: 3 Star Dalton Pepper (West Virginia)
Pickering, CAN: Rob Gagliardi (Canisius),

The Beachball Classic is the premier holiday tournament in the country. It certainly doesn't disappoint with this field.

Will be a great experience for the EC kids. Win or lose I know they will play their hearts out. Having said that, there is some STEEP competition in this thing!

Is this tournament in Florida. I would think so since in the Beach Ball Classic.

The BBC is usually the second best HS tournament in the country. The only one that tops it is the City of Palms.

I agree, the City of Palms is also a great HS Christmas tourney. Legitiment arguements can usually be made for both, year in, year out.

The BBC is one of the top two tournys at Christmas and I think Elliot Co. has a real shot at winning this!

Cedar Hill will be a great challenge. CH was averaging in the 90's their first few games. EC is avering close to 100. This could be a 200 point game.
