As bad of a showing as they had at Belfry, I still think they would defeat those teams ranked underneath them. Like everyone has stated, Belfry's schedule wasn't that tough. Could we help it? Not Really. Does that mean we arn't good? Absolutely not.

Doesn't seem right that Harlan and Paintsville are ranked ahead of Pikeville, since Pikeville beat both, but I guess you have your reasons.

1. Johnson Central--the hardest hitting, best run team I have ever seen.
2. Beechwood--same exact thing except on a 1a level.
3. Green County--way better than expected...super backfield.
4. LCA--always tough...once again super athletes all around.
5. Pikeville--good rival...harmon coupled with a good line was tough.
6. PCC--cross town rival...amis and travis put on a show.
7. Paintsville--solid football team....nothing else to say...doderer is very good
8. Pike Central--good QB with a line that could pass protect well.
9. Lynn Camp--great ground game with a semi solid line...good RB
10. Pineville--way tougher than expected...
11. Harlan--solid team with a decent backfield...but graduation kills
12. Jenkins--needs work with the graduation losses and coach change
13. Betsy Layne--congrats on first playoff appearance but not much to contend with

Even though that may have been Russell's worst game of the season, it was also the best Belfry played. If we'd played like that against Breathitt, it would have at least been a different score. Plus, you've also got to consider our competition...
