#3
dang, reading the other thread, this is really unexpected... What happened to SF?
#4
Glad to see the rebels come away with a win! It was a good game. I agree, guess everyone's predictions of losing by 10, 15 or more wasn't correct!
#5
holy cow. I could not have been more wrong on this one. I figured SF would win this going away. I would like to hear what happened.
#6
Congrats AC on your first W
#7
From what i was told from a Friend of Sf that the rebels just simply come out to play tonight
#8
Congrats AC
#9
congrats AC this was a shocker to everyone
#10
Alot of players from AC really stepped up in this game
#11
this ballgame is on Wprg right now. Where is Langdon and D. Hall for SF. I knew AC would have players out, where is SF's team at?
#12
Dakota Hall is sick and was at the hospital with IV in him before the game then he left the hospital and came to the game but had to leave.

Well I wish him well and this game would have been differnt with him there

The Rebels just came out of the locker room ready to play. They played hard and never gave up. Congrats AC

Congrats to coach Mark Martin on your first win. It sounded like you have some kids who really want to play. It is always difficult to take over a program from a long time popular incumbent coach. I feel that someday the young men whom have left the team will look back and regret that decision. Keep up the hard work as it will pay off in the future.

Really impressed with my rebels tonight. Chris Stumbo came out and played well tonight, with 19 pts. Blake Salisbury also impressed me as he had 10 at the half, not sure on his total. And although Hall and Langdon didn't play, and are both good players, i still think AC would have won simply because they wanted it more tonight. Congrats rebels and Mark Martin.

Congrats AC! Any stats

To Runnin' rebs21 after dishin' the program and the new coach on your past couple of weeks of negative comments concerning the Allen Central Basketball program and the adminstration, .now after the win tonight in which you predicted a double digit loss for Allen Central Now, "They are ur Rebels".....

Coach Mark Martin and the boys do not really need your type of warm weather support...but, isn't that is what is so good about this website.....

Four players in double figures tonight and the Rebels connected on 7 three pointers in which came from three different players...This is just a good opening win for the new coach and kids.

Lot's of work still to be done yet, the Rebels played hard tonight and played team ball tonight.

GO REBELS and Keep up the good work!!!!

I never said i wasnt a rebel fan anymore, or anything like that. I have just said i dont agree with the slow down ball they are playing, and me along with most ppl just think the admin did coach martin wrong. I honestly didn't think they'd pull off this one esp. it being on the road. But they proved me wrong. I think Mark did a very good job tonight, and all the players came out ready to play. I just hope the same thing happens the rest of the season.

What time is the game tomorrow at the expo for the rebels? I've heard 4 and I've heard 5

Congrats Rebels on their first win!

First time seeing either team and i was not impressed AT ALL. Sloppy ball on both teams. The only D i seen from SF was #44. #23 got more agressive toward the end of the game. AC seem to have at least a play or 2 to set up. Stumbo did a great job tonight for AC, i don't think this kid has been getting the game time he deserved. AC's # 20 seems like a good ball handler. With Hall and Langdon out tonight really hurt SF. The #45 kid for SF, i think, did ok but seems to be a little out of shape to play for an extended time. Why didn't Tackett or Gibson get into the game? 2 seniors that seem to turn things around with their rebounding and shooting. Seems like the lost players from AC was not missed that much tonight. But then again...i am just a sideline coach so what do i know? Good luck SF & AC. Congrats AC.

congrats on the win AC!....Keep them coming!

I agree with most of what you said. I was very impressed with Chris Stumbo tonight also, however, he has been getting plenty of playing time this season. He starts and plays probably around 25 out of the 32 minutes. He just seemed to have his game together tonight, and hopefully that will continue throughout the season. I was impressed with Salisbury and Nelson tonight too though, as they both stepped up and played huge for the Rebels. I know SF had 2 starters out, but I still don't think it would have changed a whole lot with them, although Dakota Hall is a pretty good player. I was glad to see Mark have the boys pressing some tonight, and creating some turnovers. Congrats to the Rebels and good luck SF

I saw this game on WPRG and it took me a minute to realize that it a high school game and not a junior high game...

You may have never said you weren't a rebel fan, but if you go back and look at your posts over the last couple weeks, i think you'll see that you have had nothing but negative things to say about the new coach!
