matt stacy has tanlet, no one can take that away from the kid but he doesnt have what it takes to become a "good player".From what ive heard he never comes to pratice. thats why he went to cordia over kcc because he wouldnt get to play if he missed practice at a bigger school.

He does have what it takes to become a good player...but i agree missing practice is not acceptable and will keep him from doing that

Well time for me to check in at the nut house then, cause he ain't no where near good!!!! A ball hog is all he is and shoot, shoot, shoot is all he wants to do. He may be a good player for his age group, but he can't play a lick with the big boys.

and u are a whining pus, whenever someone disagrees with u, u cry about their ops being different then yours. I, in my own op do not think he can play and I'll say it again, he may get better with more experience, but right now he ain't that good.

I think one kid that could be pretty good for KCC in the future and be a real help for Zach Davis is J.T Campbell. Hes not talked much about but I think he has got some varsity time against teams like South Floyd and Jenkins not much of teams, but pretty good for a freshman to get in.

true, he's a good ball player and can only get better as he gets more experience.

I agree as well. J.T. Campbell will be a very good ball player at KCC!

If he was at KCC all he would be is a practice dummy and someone to keep the bench warm. Why would i be mad over something like that?

He wouldnt get to play at Knott anyways regardless if he was at practice everyday.

matt stacy is a good player but he is under sized for high school ball.... i don't see him getting 22 over knott centrals guard who are all around 6 feet tall.... but i'm not taking n/e thing away from him he is good.. but i would take zach davis over him any day.. they are both good but zach has a big size advantage over him.. plain and simple.. both are good and both are poised to have good high school careers at their schools.. jmo

People.. People.. where has sports gone some people get on here for all the wrong reasons. You can't take talent away from players because you are for another school. I'm a KCC fan hands down, but when people start saying dumb stuff it makes you look bad. I mean I'm a pretty nice guy and hate putting players down, but when I see a player i can pretty much tell if there good or not, I know Matt Stacy personally and I've watched him play ball many times. This kid can play ball and no one can take that away from him. He will be a top player in the region in a couple of years. It's ridiculous how people say he couldn't cut it at KCC, come on people he's 14 year old kid, don't bash him of his decsions just let the kid play basketball. From KCC I see Zack Davis, Seth Adams, and JT Cambell being the only freshmen that will be a top player in the 14th in the future, not bashing the Trey kid, but he has a lot to show me before he gets mentioned on my list.
I'm tired of hearing about money, money, money, money, money. I just want to play the game, drink Pepsi, wear Reebok -Shaquille O'Neal

I know he is only an 8th grader, but Jordan Olinger from Hazard will be pretty tough in a couple of years. This will come with maturity, experience, and hard work!! Good luck Jordan!! JMO! Also, good luck to all the other players mentioned, I think that they all have bright futures and it will be fun to watch them grow into the players everyone knows they can be!! I also agree 100% with spartan4life, good post!!

Yes he did, I'm sure it was good experience for an 8th grader!!

LCC overall has best group of freshmen I've seen. Beat Knott twice already. Korey Stewart is a manchild and Logan Johnson possibly best athlete in the region.

Jarod Goodwin from powell county is good...lol im just kidding he's alright but the player from powell you need to watch out for is Kevin Brewer. he will show a lot of heart and teamwork ths year.:notworthy

i would have to agree there, Ryan Goodwin will definatley be one of the best if not the best, in the 14th region by his junior year, if and only if he stays with it.IMO
(RUMOR) he doesn't like bball very much

Zach Davis at KCC has a lot of experience and is a very smart and hardworking player. Keep watching and you'll see a lot of him

WELL I WILL AGREE HE IS GOOD BUT THE FRESHMAN THAT ARE ACTUALLY PLAYING VARSITY THIS YEAR ARE MONETT AND MORTON(VERY LITTLE) SO I WOULD SAY THEY R PROBABLY BETTER AT THIS POINT. POWELLS TEAM HAS 2 SENIORS ONE WAS HURT ALL LAST YEAR AND DIDNT PLAY ONE DIDNT PLAY AT ALL LAST YEAR AND WAS HURT MOST OF THE YEAR BEFORE THAT. ONE JUNIOR WHO IS STRUGGLING TO SCORE AND TWO SOPHOMORES WORKING HARD TO RUN THE TEAM. I LOOK FOR THEM TO BE THE STANDOUTS FOR THIS TEAM FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS. THE FRESHMAN ARE VERY LUCKY TO BE PLAYING THIS YEAR. I ALSO KNOW THE ONE FRESHMAN GETTING PLAYING TIME GOT CUT FROM THE TEAM IN 7TH AND 8TH GRADE. I WONDER WHAT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL COACH WAS THINKING OH HES NOT THE COACH ANYMORE.
