Powell county was never down 31-4 in the first quarter. Estill only had 31 in the quarter. Powell just didnt come to play last night and Estill came out hitting lights out. I do not think Arvin meant in any way to hurt the Berryman kid. It was a stupid decison on his part and im sure it came from fustration. Im not sure if the Reed injury was enough to say it hurt Powell very bad. It hurt them, just not by alot. He was not playing at his potential. Monnet is definetely does not have varsity potential and does not need to step on the floor. The kid just doesnt have much talent at all. Coach Hall needs to realize that Goodwin or Rose needs to be the first player off the bench. Congrats Estill...Keep your head up pirates.

Honestly, I know you won't do nothing so I'll just keep talking. And if you think I am David Crowe, then you are very wrong my friend. And I am not from Estill County. I just don't like Powell County. Like a lot of people.

I Was Wondering What Happened To The Big Guys For Powell County In This Game Conely Had 1 Point/ Rice Had 5 Points/ Arvin Had 2 Points/ And At Least Jones Had 8 Points. Maybe Instead Of Trying To Dunk In In Warm Ups They Should Practice Their Lay Ups. Hope They Come To Play Against Lee On Tuesday.

not from Powell eh, how do you even know me, you need to quit runnin your mouth before somebody busts it, like me, estill blows and this is the only good year they will ever have, and i doubt well be able to go out for hot dogs becuase you and luigi will be putting them to good use, and crowe didnt quit, he was kicked off, all he does is run his mouth and the coach got tired of it, give it time, youll see what i mean, maybe he'll fit in with you class of people. :mad:

Ok I think everyone needs to stop running there mouth on here! The only reason you all are talking **** is because no one knows who you really are! It is very immature. Grow up you are in high school. We are on here to talk about sports no dog each other! Seriously.! Powell got killed everyone knows that. You cant blame it on no one but the players and the coach. You cant really blame them. Estill has a good team all around. They also all get along. No one plays for them selfs. There was a couple of times Cackling had wide open shots and he passed the ball. They play as a team something powell needs to learn how to do. There is always drama between powells team. Powell if you cant play like a team you are going to get beat. End of story!

Estill has more class than powell does and I can say that I am from powell.. They didnt taunt us like we taunt teams when we beat them. None of there fans were doging our team!
Im tired of the BS about crowe if you dont know what truly happened shut your mouth! I am very close to Crowe. His father is really sick and has been since football season. The school even told his father that he could not take care of crowe being as sick as he was.

I Would Like To Let You Know That We Are Finally A Team And Playing Like One. Our Starting 5 2 Sophomores, 2 Seniors That Did Not Play Last Year, And A Junior. So Yeah Its A Rebuilding Year. But They Get Better Every Game. Lost Their Coach Late And Started Late. Been A Rough Year For Powell. Had Two Players Leave One On Their Own One Not. They Are Better Because Of This. We Are Asking A Lot Of These Players And In The Estill Game Two Of Our Starters Got Hurt. Please Give Them A Brake Thanks.

Actually, Coach lively was not going to let one of those players back on the team after some things that happened this summer. You can not blame this season on the coach. He knows what he is doing and has a very young and inexperienced team to work with this year. Give him a year to work with this group and you will see a difference by years end.

Yes 2 Players Are Gone. Bye. Done With That. If I Hear Inexperienced One More Time. You Have 2 Guards Sophomores Yes But Very Talented And Experienced. Creech And Reed. They Are Ot Getting Much Help Down Low. The Two Seniors Conely And Rice Didnt Play Last Year And You Can Tell. Jones And Rice Only Came Back After Football The Week Of Our First Game. So Give These Guys Some Time To Wok Together. If The Older Guys Can Take Direction From A Couple Sophomores Maybe They Can Win Some.

I'll tell ya what happened. They just simply didn't get the ball. They don't give Rice the ball enough anyways. He is an explosive athlete and is capable of scoring. It seemed like the few times he did get the ball he scored or got fouled. Many teams don't have a player as strong as him or that can jump with him. He should be scoring 20 and pulling atleast 15 boards a game. I'm very dissapointed in the way he's been forced to play. The only 4 year senior on the team. LOOK AT HIM FROM NOW ON GUARDS!!! ITS YOUR BEST OPTION!

I agree. The big men don't hustle like they should. It's easy to blame the freshman or the coach or whatever, but it comes down to who works hardest and wants it more.

Rice can score but he is a much better defensive player. Rice just didnt play to his full ability. Conley played great against JC and Wolfe. He had a bad game and barely played the seconed half due to a gash in his head. Aj stepped up and showed he could play some ball. Powell just needs some time. Look for Conley and Rice to play better against Lee. The Pirates will be alright

Maybe its the fact that Estill is a lot better than Wolfe and Jackson City, alot better defense leads to less points. Does it not?
