okay lets give it to you and say it was all planned (even thou it was a girls basketball) and they changed them at halftime right? then why did phelps play as good or better the second half with a girls ball they have practiced with boys all week... now does ur statement even make sense? NO

Thats the ............. thing I've ever heard. The balls were the same size. The refs picked the ball. PC's coach went wild over it. The only difference was that it didnt say 28.5 on it. Why would they practice with a boys ball anyway. Your whole story makes no sense whatsoever. There is only problems when Pike Central comes to Phelps. Quit making excuses when Phelps beats Pike Central and show some sportsmanship.

It was a boys basketball!!!
It was even found in warm ups....
One of the girls found it and took it back....
Every girls basketball has 28.5 on it this ball did not!!!
And one of the Phelps players did mention it to a lady hawk that they have practiced with a boys ball..Why no one knows....Unless they would want to throw pc's shot off!!! IDK???

thats why people that play with a boys basketball every day said that it wasnt a boys ball. besides, if it was then why did phelps do just as good the second half with a different ball? everytime phelps beats pike central people get on here and rant about how phelps cheat. why is it that no other school has any problem? is it possible that pike central is just sore losers.

ok explain why we done so good with a ball we didnt practice with all week? this makes you guys look Ridiculousâ¦ it is always some excuse or something when u guys get beat phelps as a whole has PCâs number right now and they canât stand it.

Ya know I'm getting so tired of hearing people talk about Phelps.......as if we get everything our way.........My whole life I have heard Phelps is the A** end of Pike County......No body cares about Phelps!!!! Thank God for the few who stand up for our little town!!!!

I was at the game and from what I seen there was a lot of cheap fouls called on some of our girls.......Katlyn Riley fouled out real early......and Kayla Ratliff had 4 fouls.....Jasmine Hall had 4.....Marissa, Jonda, and Chasity all had 3 each......

As for the basketball thing......there was 3 REFS there, undoubtly 1 of them could've told the difference between a girls ball and a boys ball.....if anyone is to blame for that mistake it would've been the refs for not paying attention to the game ball!!!

PS....where's our new elementary school and turf if we are so important!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phelps had a 4 point lead at the half.......okay if they had practiced with A BOYS BALL, they why did they streach out the lead to 17 in the second half? Simple, it was a girls ball...............

This is on topic...........Phelpps won, even though their D was a little off, and their rebounding was just a little lax.......Once their coach gets them to practice more than 40 minutes a day they will be real tough. *G*

To be honest if our girls hadn't of gotten so many fouls they would've beat Central by 20 points or more.......Once the fouls started rolling in Phelps had to back off!!!

central was outscored 40 to 31 in the 2nd half......

thanks i asked something similar to this earlier and never got an answer.

Hopefully I will be able to watch these girls play at Valley next weekend im intersted in seeing how they play. They should win the All A regional with there talent.

Our Little Phelps Team Has Come A Long Way In The Past 2 Years......

Vanhoose Is Awesome And The Girls Love Him, Shawna And Devin......

I Tell You What Guys, The Girls Playing For Phelps Are All Good Players, But I Just Have To Tell You That I'm Amazed With Katlyn Riley's Abilities....if She Would Turn Loose And Play The Game Like I Know She Can.....nobody Could Stop Her!!! She Has So Much Talent....and I Truly Love Watching Her Play Ball!! She Has No Fear Whatsoever When She's On The Court!! Great Great Ball Player.........she Truly Amazes Me.....

it doesnt really matter if it was or wasnt a girls ball..... but one of phelps girls told one of pcc girls it was ...\and that they planned it lol the reason everyone gets rowled up when pcc goes to phelps is because the refs are in their pockets.... worst officiated game i have ever seen, but good job to both teams i think pcc played well and phelps did also

oh my gosh i just can't believe what i'm READing.....phelps has the refs in their pockets....lol......come on, if someone has to pay the refs in order for our kids to win, then you know what they don't deserve to win! WE ARE NOT CHEATERS!!

It was a boys ball and J. R. knew it. Actually the ref refused to change the ball at halftime and said the game would be completed with the same ball. Phelps has too good of a team to resort to such tactics. They are loaded with talent and should not think they have to rely on trickery to aid their game. I cannot help but wonder if P.C. would have missed fifteen free throws with girls ball. These teams will play again at P.C. and will most likely use one. It should be a good game.
