Breathitt Co./Central (Updates)
EKUAlum05 Wrote:Central's speed causing some issues

This was a concern that was stated by many this week! Breathitt is in serious trouble now. Sad
Welcome to the best site in town! If you need anything, just let me know.
Central is so fast and athletic you casn't take unwarranted risks against them. additionally, they will not hurt you with a short passing game, they rely on the homerun when they pass. Also, it is critical to froce long yardage situations that are obvious passing downs.

This has killed BC so far. The 2nd TD drive the Bobcats had a choice of taking a penalty and a 1st and 15, or declinign for a 2nd and 9 and they chose to decline. On 3rd Down Central picked it up by one yard.

That drive was finished with the long pass to Robinson behind coverage shortly thereafter.

Then, the final drive Haddix tries to froce a pass and now BC is in a DEEP hole.
Additionally, hats off to Central HC Ty Scroggins.. he has used his timeouts very wisely to keep his kids calmed won on key plays.
They are struggling offensively. Short quick passes of 5-6 yards a play then bust off a few runs with Fugate. Central is a whole different beast in the secondary than the teams they are used to playing.

Yea EKU, I learned to copy and paste in grade school. JK man. How is it going?
Two tds by Central in 1:13. That will kill ya. The announcers on the first game never called the action. They just gave you the result of the action. I wish Joe and I were down there broadcdasting. I wonder if the Breathitt announcers have calmed down from last week any?Wink

is it delayed or is it perfect timing with the gameplay?

I would say they will be after this one is over. I agree with the way they acted last week. I couldn't hear you all for them yelling. A little bit of professionalism goes a long way.

They all seemed like real good guys, but man, they went a lot overboard. I have no problem with getting excited. I get into the broadcasts as much as anyone, but screaming and hitting tables and just way overreacting is too much. Anyway, I say they were pretty fired up when it was 7-0.
