This was a sloppy game but considering that Bryan Station was bigger and quicker than Powell and that Powell had 19 turnovers to go with about 28 missed free throws, this was not to bad for Powell. They will get it together and be a team to watch in the 14th region.

Rogers was hurt but played thru it and still had 16 pts. Its just the first game. I assure you that they will improve.

Powell was 14 for 33 from the free throw line. (that's only 19)
Bryan Station was a rough team with a lot of speed and Powell played well with them for it to be their opening game of the season.

Powell and Station both played sloppy. It wasnt pretty but Station pulls out the win. Powell has some talent in the starting line up but not much coming off the bench if they get into foul trouble against a good team they could be in for some real trouble but we'll see what happens when they play PCC.

Powell is going to be a rough team to beat in the 14th this year. They have Barnett which is a good point guard, Rogers, and of course we can't forget Mcfarland. She is a great inside player. Teams in the 14th doesn't need to look down on this team. I would like to see Letcher and Powell play. It would be a good game.

I think that Roe helped out alot with her free throws in this game... Powell is going to be good this year with some help with the bench... They're a tough team and I don't think anyone can look down on them...
