Obama is planning on increasing the number of legal immigrants. He plans on amnesty as long as those without criminal backgrounds learn English. Which is going to instantly add 20 million citizens, you toss that along with his increased welfare/healthcare, does anyone not think this is going to drive us even farther into debt?

The reason illegals have jobs now is because they don't have to be paid like Americans. You say Americans don't want those jobs, thats true because most of those jobs the employers want top pay 2 dollars an hour. So of course no American wants it. If they become legal however, and fall under the same protections we do, they will lose their jobs. Plus business's will be paying a much higher tax rate, so they will probably be forced to close up shop, as they won't be able to pay the 9.50 a hour minimum wage the Dems are planning on putting in. It may be even higher as it will be based on inflation.

I'm for mass deportation btw, if that includes kids who are citizens who's parents are illegals, and they have to go to, well then so be it. A line has to be drawn somewhere.
