I would have to say Josh Prater, he played alot on the Varsity for ACHS and those two other boys, I don't think I have even heard of them at all.

In my opinion i would have to say Josh Prater and Jonathon Sheperd from Ac and Blake Meade and Jody Tackett from p-burg

Well Jody Tackett and Blake meade also had Alot of minutes on varsity last year as 8th graders and they are both 14 right now Josh Prater is About 16 and is a hold back and started school. And Jody Tackett and jos teammates at South Floyd Middle Beat Josh Prater And blake meade in the county tourn. Now Jody Tackett and Blake meade are both teammates At Prestonsburg high school.

Adam Who? if it wouldnt have been for Jody Tackett in the County tourn. then south floyd would have been in alot worse shape and wouldnt have made it as far as they did! Jody Tackett played more on Varsity at south floyd and is a Great point guard and can shot the ball very well

Adam SLone, the BEST point guard as a freshman in floyd county. Wasnt that Jody Tackett a second semester transfer to SFMS? Wasnt SFMS undefeated BEFORE Jody Tackett came there? Even beating Adams Middle while Jody was there? How many games did he play on varsity? What was his PPG and assists per game at both Adams Middle and SFMS? And watching that team last year, the Raiders would have made it just as far with or without Jody Tackett.

I dont know about that in the game against adams sfms beat them by 17 points and jody had 15 points, 6 steals, and 6 rebounds. and 5 ass. and in the acms game jody tackett had the 1st 5 points of the 3rd quater and tied the game with a 3 and stole the ball and scored a lay up to tie the game,so im really not sure about Adam slone being the best.

So in the game where Jody played against SFMS, he still needed to score at least 17 more points than he did? How did SFMS manage to beat every team in the county before jody come there? How many games did he even start for the raiders after he transfered there? 4, maybe 5 at the most? And if memory serves me correct, they lost two of them. Why wasnt the team name changed to the SFMS Jodys? What varsity games did he play in? Yes, he got to dress in the regional tourny game, but he was listed as a manager and not on the roster of players, so he couldnt have gotten in the game even if he begged. Just toot your own horn Jody, everyone is listening.

well thats when jody played 4 sfms. when they beat adams they only beat them by 4 and was down 18 at half- time.

well..jody wasnt allowed 2 start being a 2nd semster transfer. but they would have lost if it wouldnt have been for him.In the county tourn, when they played adams SFMS was losing until the 1st horn of the game which was jody tackett entering it.Sfms beat adams by 17 points and JODY had 15 of them coming off the bench and had alot of steals and rebounds. so it would have been a tough game for Sfms if they wouldnt have had his help. it's just my opinion and that yours but just how many teams has Adam played for and started as a point guard on and went to the state toun and placed in the top 10? Jody has played on 2!

You said u havent heard nyhting about blake meade! he was the shag cambell tournament most valuable player and tournament free throw champ.. he also shot 89 percent on field goals shot....he shot 98 percent from the line in the county tourne..and was one of the only 8th graders n the allen central high varsity baskteball team...josh prater il hav to hand to you is a good basketball player but he dont have the determination and heart to do nything special..abouyt the age thing yea he is almost 16 and a freshman....so dont say you havent heard of him b/c i no better!!!!!!!

I just wonder if Jody and his new best buddy blake would be interested in playing a game of 2 on 2 against Adam Slone and another freshman... if jody and blake are the two best, shouldnt be a problem. I just wonder who Adam would think was a good enough freshman to play with him.

I'm pretty sure Jody and Blake wouldnt mind if they had a little game of 2 on 2. You just named the time and the Place and im sure they could make it there! O yea Jody didnt have a choice but to transfer that wasnt his desion, that was his parnets, Why do you think he went back to Prestonsburg high school this year?

Adam said him and big dev was ready to show you who was the heart and soul of SFMS... they said just name the time and place...and the reason you went back to prestonsburg, is because you now SFHS wont be that good, the same reason you came there last year, to have a chance at a county tourny championship.

If Jody and Blake were the two best players last year, why did Jody have to change schools to be a county champion? Why isnt any of the other players on his team mentioned? I would have to think that Adam SLone, Deven Adams, Chad Patrick and Brandon Tackett would have to be mentioned also. I mean, they are the ones who beat Jody Tacketts and Blake Meades teams even BEFORE Jody transfered. And everyone knows the only reason Jody transfered was to have a chance to win the county tourny.

It does not matter jody and adam will be playing side by side for years to come so if one can shoot and one pass or vic versa then they will both be fun to watch as Raiders

he did today. the Adams kid should have chance to play on varsity as a freshmen and move to somewhere that you do not know and do not know the system might be a daddy move but was something I hope works out for him but this first year a big mistake.

I disagree william, even if it was a "daddy move" how can it be so wrong to take a 6'8" freshman to a school where he has Todd May as an assistant coach to teach him. Can you think of any other coach in the area that is more qualified than the best big man ever to come out of this area, and most likely the best big man to come from the state of ky?
