After 25 years racing NASCAR, the #24 Pepsi sponsored car driver will turn in the keys. He says he has enough money to get him through life so he will no longer take a chance of risking it. He will be missed by his thousands of fans dearly and to me it will be odd to turn on NASCAR and not see him.

What are everyones thoughts on this?

He can retire and still make money, He own Jimmy Johnson car. He get so much off of it when they win. The way Jimmy Johnson drive he will be making money.. Jimmy might break the KING and Dale record of 7 titles. This year will make his 3rd.

I am one of the biggest Gordon fans there is, and this information is no where. Pretty sure news like this would be all over ESPN or Jayski which is an affiliate of ESPN. Jeff has a lifetime contract but I wouldn't see him leavin until he is in his 40's.

Jeff Gordons rookie year in NASCAR was in 1990 driving the Baby Ruth car in the Busch (Nationwide) series. So hes not been racing 25 years but 18. Youve been gone from PHS for 2 months and already have forgotten how to count LOL!Wink Just kiddin man.
