Story Of My Life.

Really didn't think his injury was that bad. But they said he was delaying the possibility of Tommy John surgery. That will take awhile for Carson to recover from.
#4
Oh well. Let's watch Chad Johnson actually score some TD's the rest of the season.
#5
ohh well, who cares.

I wish he was UK's QB.
#6
I'm sure he wouldn't have helped the Bengals anyway.
#7
i love the bengals
but they suck lol

Why would he come back now when we have no shot at the playoffs and no offense line which would risk hurting himself more?

Tommy John would apparantly make his arm even better, but they say it will put him out for at least a year from now (11.6 months- close enough, get off my backWink ), which our window of opportunity is closing, and I don't think I'm satisfied with waiting that long.

The article says that he'd be back by the summer, which is amazing, but he doesn't want to abandon the team, regardless of the record, but I'd say go for it if he'll be back by summer and even stronger.

He couldn't help the Bungles this year anyway.
#13
not surprised really.
#14
hope Palmer gets healthy for next year.
#15
fitzpatrick has really stepped up these last couple o games. wish we could have got wins earlier
#16
Hopefully he gets the surgery and all goes well so that he can be back for next season, but I haven't heard yet if he has had surgery yet.
#17
I just hope his surgery goes well and hes able to get back out there next season...Because, the Bengals just ain't the same without Carson Palmer...But, Fitzpatrick has really stepped up in place of Carson.
#18
they would suck if they had Toma Brady Or Peyton Manning... its the Bengales.. they are not suppose to be good
#19
Why didn't they just recommend surgery in the first few weeks.

Rumors have been saying that the majority of the doctors he consulted said that if he had the surgery that his playing career would be over.

Quarterback Carson Palmer, though out for the game Sunday, threw Tuesday and might throw today if conditions allow.

Any pain? "Nope," said Palmer, who estimated he threw 30 passes.

He threw passes within 40 yards in a seven-on-seven drill with no chance of being contacted by defensive players.

"I threw a couple of long balls, it felt good. Everything felt good," he said.

Is surgery less of a possibility now? "Yes," Palmer said. "We'll evaluate it after we get through this process."

Is there a drop-dead date for the decision?

"No, but the sooner the better," Palmer said. "It'll be at the end of this week."

I say Palmer is done for the season... He needs to let Fitz. finsh the season.. He has picked up the backbone for Palmers mistakes...
#23
^ that's a given, Palmer is not dressing tomorrow, and it is the last game of the season. What I don't like about all this is that if he has the surgery, then why didn't he do this 8 weeks ago???
#24
I don't see any reason why he would come back when they have no chance of making playoffs he would just put himself in danger for next season or possibly his career.

Good Luck Bengals...I have Faith!!!
