Tell your coach to call Coach Howard, I know he needs a home game so they can do 8th grade recognition night. He'll hurry it up and have it all done by the time you guys can get over here and do a couple of games. Let's see how LCC stacks up with a top notch Floyd Co. team, it will be fun.

Canceling at the last minute is not cool! Especially at the end of the year like this when there are events planned.

What a game! Evarts racked up over 300 yards on the ground in route to victory. The cats are now 7-1 and go to Jenkins on Monday, Knox on Tues. The playoffs vs New Harlan on Oct. 25th. Tonight Cameron Cornett #15 was the Offensive MVP, and Brent Pace #25 was the Defensive MVP!# 23 Jarrett Ford (QB) and #2 Jake Ball also played extreamly well for the CATS. We had 4 15 yard penalties, and 2 TD's called back. Props to the kids from LCC. They are huge! #21 is a great athlete! Very hard hitters! I congratulated 2 of thee boys as we were leaving they were very classy! The officiating was subject at best. 3 out of the 4 did well. One was a homer! Thanks for a great game for a wonderful cause.

I didn't make it to the game today. Sounds like it was a good one. Our 5/6 grade team always plays with a lot of heart. They never give up! Thanks for the compliment.

thursday the top two team in the bluegrass north met. 7-1 georgetown lost to 8-0 elkhorn by the score of 60-12 in 8th grade action. the elks looked good with a 44-12 halftime lead.

It looks like Russell, as Lawrence Co lost tonight to Boyd County 30 - 16 and Russell has the Tie-breaker with East...

New Harlan finished up their regular season play tonight in 7th and 8th grade action at home against Leslie Co. They finish the regular season 9-0.
