Jason Dolly, Russell's KO, FG, and XP specialist is closing in on the state record for consecutive XP's made. He currently sits at 72 consecutive kicks made. The record is 73 held by a Lex. Cath kicker. One of those kicks include the overtime winner against Russell, so I would definetly like to see that record fall. Good luck to Jason. Hope he doesn't read this and let the pressure get to him.

He is a good kicker. Russell tried a 54 yard FG against Lawrence County last week...missed, of course, coming up short...but the kick actually looked pretty decent for a high school game.

But I would really like to see Jason kick a long one too. Don't know if he has the leg to beat Petry's kick though.

He was prolly 3 yards too short on that kick... It prolly would have went if it was in the beginning of the season with the ambiant air lighter and all. Now that it is colder the air pressure is more dense and the ball does not travel as far.....
Any body believe that one????

That is really a feat that is unreal in high school football! Great record to hold..Is he getting any looks? What kind of field goal kicker is he? That is a part of the game even at the D1 level that you just don't see much of anymore, a solid kicker as even the big schools have poor kickers! Congrats on the accomplishment!

He is playing in college...but in soccer....
He is huge too, 6'1", 200 pounds. His calves are the size of most kids thighs... Comes out and does his job..... I am really proud of him for breaking the record, missing on the next kick just killed him.........
It seems fitting to Russell Tradition and class. .....WIN... just enough to be safe but be respectful and not be a showboat.. The other good thing for Jason is that the other kicker behind him is also hurt and is not kicking right now....I hear he has a kicking leg injury that has set him back..... Just what I heard tonight.

Actually he's not decided on either sport. Just depends on what offer is better. I hear that Shawnee State is very interested. The sophomore kicker is not injured. Don't know where you heard that from. He's also 5'11" 195 and probably the fastest player on the team. Wish he would have been involved in the running game.
