Who do you think has the best D- line?
#1
I will go with the LCC COUGARS

Where did coach Howard fine some of his linemen?

That # 75 is all over the field. I would let him block for me anytime in the game.

And that # 56 get behind those two guy and they will pull you through the line.

Betsy Layne 7th & 8th have only allowed 42 points in 7 games, while scoring 243

Bobcat Black & Gold,

How about you talk to your coach and I'll talk to Coach Howard and see if we can hook these two up for a game. I know Coach is looking for an 8th grade night opponent, how about Betsy Lane. Post if your coach is interrested and I'll ask for the heck of it but I'm gonna go ahead and speak for our coach and say let's hook it up and see who has the best defense. GO LCC COUGARS

LCC has allowed 70 points but 40 of those were when Coach had pulled off the dawgs and put the little Cougars in the game. They have hung up over 370 points this season. I bet our competition is a little stronger than yours. Perry, Hazard, New Harlan, Johnson Central, Sebastian, Belfry.........

New Harlan's homecoming is tomorrow and we jsut found out that team has canceled with us that was supposed to play.
Hope coach finds us a team for tomorrow night...

It's gonna be tough to find a team that will come here at this late hour.

MamaBear,

Good luck finding somebody. I can tell everyone out there that if you can talk your coach into going over to New Harlan you will sure be treated with a lot of class. Our team went over there earlier in the year and we met some of the nicest people in the world. Not to mention you will get to watch some good old fashioned football with some true loyal football fans. Hope you can find a team at this late of a date MamaBear. I sure hope somebody steps up and helps them get to have a homecoming game. Our team is going through the same thing with a cancellation on our 8th grade recognition night and we know it's no fun. Come on somebody, pick up the phone and tell them that you will help them out of a bind.

Will NHC play LCC again? Heard alot about these two teams

Well. LCC and NHC coaches recently tried to work a game out, but it didn't happen. Both teams needed a home game. NHC needed a game for homecoming because Leslie canceled and LCC needed a home game for 8th grade night because Martin canceled. Guess it was in the cards for these teams to hook up again this year with tournament action around the corner.

I'm sure that these teams will meet on the field again next year. This has turned into a friendly rivalry between the Cougars and the Patriots. Both have excellent, well disciplined teams. I would like to wish both teams GOOD LUCK as tournaments begin!!!!:champ: :champ:

We wish LCC best of luck in the tournament this year! We've played both LCC and Johnson Central and I'm gonna have to go with LCC.

I can't wait to watch this group of young men go on and compete in high school. I sure wished we could've got a game one more time this year. It was just a good game to watch no matter who you were for. I think we've found a kindred spirit in football with our friends across the mountain.

We had our coronation tonight. Escorted those pretty gals across the field and then came to the house. It was a shame that nobody would help us out and play. There were some teams that actually had openings and chose not to. We missed a lot of gate money that our team depends on to support our boys.

I am glad that NH went ahead with Homecoming as planned. Sounds like everyone made the best of a bad situation. However, I'm sure it wasn't the same without some hard hittin', snot' knockin' football after the ceremony.

I think LCC has decided to go ahead with 8th grade night festivities next week followed by a bonfire and pep rally to gear up for the tournament.

I completely agree that it's a shame that a team will cancel at the last minute and the home team loses out on the gate/concession money that funds the program. Just not good business!!!:dontthink
