You hate to see anything like this happen, especially when a kid has worked so hard their whole life. I wish him and his family the best of luck. They did say that he is expected to live a normal and fully functional life.

Very sad news to hear about a young kid getting an injury that would end the rest of his playing days. The greater thing is that he will be able to live a normal and happy life.
