Letcher Central vs. Clay County - Sept. 19
#1
Anyone have any predictions on this game? I am very excited to see the answers and replys on this thread.

If Coach Thomas does not make some adjustments on the defensive side of the ball, either with personell or alignments then LCC may be in for a VERY long night
#3
This will be QB war. Both teams has very good ones . Should be a fun game to watch.

Agreed!

I didnt think that LCC was that bad on the defensive side .I was there on the Perry Central game. What lost that game was a high snap on a field goal the center snap a little to hard . They did a good job on Perry Amis an Travis not letting them run wild. Now they need to get better on defending the passing game. But if they would have caught some of there own passes it would have been a whole new game

Tigers by 12. They are rolling now. The kids seem like they are actually buying Coach Arnett's 22 man system and they are playing well.

LCC pulls this out coming off a tough loss. They really need to work on that defense it is holding them way behind. Lewis is going to have his usual big game and the Cougars need to see it to get better.
#9
Clay county by 1 td.

Clay County should eat them alive with the passing game. Clay County 46 LCC 32.

I think Letcher Co., after a week with Howard, will be ready to get back on track.

LCC-35
Clay Co-14

Guys if you are going to Perry Central to play you better be ready to have the student section throw things on the field hitting players and coachs, and parents and students screamen and cussing out the other teams players and fans. I have been to a lot of football games but that was the most red necked, trailor park trash behavior I have ever seen.
#14
LCC will win in a shoot out and go on and win out, and Repeat as District Champs.

What are you talking bout? This is a Clay/LCC thread nothing to do with Perry.

Is this thread about what happened at PCC?? I don't think it is. The bottom line is that LCC got beat. Win the game and all this other stuff won't seem so bad. BTW, any person from Letcher County that uses the term "trailer trash" ,against anyone else, just remember, "He who is without sin, or trailer in this case, cast the first stone." Clay rolls, 35-20.

If LCC does not start using thier power run game more they will loose more. Yes I have a son that plays alot but when he looks at me ,when I ask him why dont they run him more ,it scares me it makes me wonder how much more he will take before he calls it quits. Two years now all we have heard from the HEAD COACH is he is going to be my starting fb but, for some reason his little boy does not want my little boy out there.Just a crying dad that hates to see his sons dreams go down the drain because of a whiney coach.:redboxer:

And before anyone starts to blame COACH THOMAS for the DBs he does not COACH them .
#24
He may not be the coach of DBs but is the defensive coordinator. I am not bad mouthing him, just stating my opinion
#25
clay by 3tds if it will even be that close maybe if clay leaves some of their players at home we might have a chance if they would start using their talent they have they would be the best team in the mountains with out a doubt. if they don't get better defensive and offensive lines they are going to get killed every game and that might just be what they need to make them think that they should make a few changes
#26
let's stay positive. After the Clay game tonight we will know where we stand. We have 1 regular season loss in our last 12 regular season games. Let's believe everything is gonna work out for the best and everyone will pull together.GO COUGARS
#27
I think Logan Johnson gets atleast 1 interception tonight and returns it for six!!! He is about due. LCC hopefully plays with some fire under them unlike the game in which they lost. Their heads were not even in that game. Just sit back and watch them win out the rest of the season and then be sleeping at the wheel once more during the playoffs. I beg the staff to keep those players focused.

all clay all night
#29
41-14 all LCC.
