How do they look this year? I haven't heard much talk about this basically new team.

I know they beat pike central in 3 games the other night.

they also beat shelby valley in three games. The last set was only by two points. I don't think Pikeville is half the team they were last year and I wouldn't be surprised if Valley took advantage of that later on in the season.

Pikeville has struggled a lot so far. Piarist took them to 3 games the other night. I don't know if Valley can beat them or not but the panthers do need to step up their game if they want to try to get a banner this year.

Well, looking at Pikeville's opponents this season they should end with a good record. But ending with a good record doesn't always mean that you will be ready for tourny time. The panther's schedule is very easy IMO and they should have scheduled some of the Belfrys and Betsy Laynes---those kind of teams

i think pikeville is a VERY good team, and even though they didnt play too well in the PIT doesnt mean that they wont be a challenge the rest of the season....IMO if they will quit yelling at each other and pull it off, they should have no problem having a winning season
