This should be one of the premier week 1 games in the state. Since Matney has been at Central they have been a very physical team. The JC ground and pound will be a good test for the Bobcats.

We will be ready.
#34
I think the Bobcats should be ready for a tough, hard nosed football game!!!

Johnson Central has the strongest line they have ever had. It will be hard for any team to run the ball on them.

It should be a great game....Both teams have more strengths than weaknesses. Breathitt is strong and so is Johnson Central. Both teams play hard and want to send a message to teams on their schedule. Does not really matter to me who wins, it will be a fun game to watch.

Gonna be interesting to see what becomes of Breathitt this season. As of right now im gonna go with JC by 8. Lets be clear that im not gonna underestimate Breathitt, still very early and they can really turn it on if they get any momentum. I wanna see JC play LCC also. Guess it can happen in the future.

Who does Johnson Central Scrimmage this year?
#39
We had 2 more of our receivers finally cleared to come out.Nick Noble and Dakota Ritchie. They are 2 good ones. That gives us about 6 good receivers now along with the best RB in the region(Fugate) and another good RB in Spicer.Jade Haddix at QB.Get used to hearing that name.He is Justins (2002)brother.

Will these two new players help the secondary?

They will eventually. They have alot of catching up to do.They are in shape though because they are athletes in other sports. It may take a little time but they will definately contribute.

I am going for Johnson Central in this one...I dont think Breathitt's lineman can handle Johnson Centrals lineman...and it seems as though the formation of Johnson's offense will give breathitt trouble.

Im predicting JC winning by 14

If your basing you opinion on linemen you will be fooled. We have a huge quick line.JC will not be able to stop our high octane offense. We can run and pass.If our secondary steps up one more gear alot of teams will be in trouble.

I have to agree, Breathitt will be a team that can beat anyone this year. I would have to warn against over-confidence though, it can bite ya.......

This will be the game of the week. I'll take JC by a TD.

I say Breathitt Bobcats don't even show up mentally to play, JC blanks them 21-0.

So you think they play like Russell in the 4th quarter.....lol...I am just messing with ya...Breathitt will be ready, but I think they will lose to a good JC team.

Nah, Russell puts in the second and third string in the 4th because of the comfortable lead.....LOL, J/K back at ya.

Johnson central has to much debt and talent...I take central by 2 touchdowns

I think depth will be more of a factor than talent....Breathitt is as talented as anyone as far as their starters are concerned.

I think Breathitt will be able to score, but I am interested to see how their defense plays.....

I agree, I think BC will be able to score on JC. I dont see this being a shootout but BC can score. BC's defense impressive me against LCC so I think they will be alright in this game. I see it being a low scoring game (JC-20 BC-14) but I love Breathitts chances in this game. Go Bobcats!

Don't worry folks ....we got this.

Maybe in 96' or 97'.... It's a new era in football.... Neither team "got this".... It's going to be a battle for both teams.... but I am placing my bet on JC.
