Unsubstantiated reports say that Ben Howard resigned.

Ben has resigned from Shelby Valley. I talked to him last week on the phone for over a hour and he was really excited about this upcoming season so this is a huge surprise. Ben resigned both his teaching and coaching positions and it was for personal reasons. I think I have a idea what those personal reasons are but I will not be saying anything because I have known Ben my entire life and I will try my best to protect him in this hard time for him. Oh well.....I can go back to not giving a damn about SV football again now. This is a surprise but I am pretty sure I know the reason and it is unfortunate.

Ben is not going to be coaching anywhere for a while. He has some things that he needs to get worked out first. Again I am just guessing what this may be but I know I am right.....I know him to well.
