#1
I just want to see what everyones fab five in the history of their school would be? I will be honest and say I have no clue about the people past 10 years ago as it is just high school and hardly means squat anyways so i will not do one but for someone who can please give me a pburg one.

And Blackcat Alum i saw a while ago where u had done one for pburg but it was just way off imo man it didnt count lol...when i saw some of those names on there and i wont say who they were cuz i kno for a fact they get on here, but overall you got 3 of em right. So lets see who ya got fellas.

Well in my opinion here would be the fab five for Paintsville High School:

Center: JR Vahoose
Power Forward: Craig Ratliff
Small Forward: John Pelphrey
Shooting Guard: Landon Slone
Point Guard: Matt Ratliff

Top Reserves: Joey Couch; Todd Tackett; Keith Adkins; Jerry Pelphrey; Terry Porter; Bob Porter;
#4
South Floyd
Micheal Hall
Rusty Tackett
Tyler Hall
Jason Shannon
Jimmy Stumbo

Reserves: John Meade, Byron Hall, Ryan Shannon, ?????????

John was like the 4th best player on the team his senior year, wasn't a scoring threat at all. Bryon was probably the 5th best player on the team his senior year...But, they both were good. Tyler was a great shooter, but wouldn't be a starter. He would provide a better spark off the bench.

Mike Slone from 2002-03(if so, no way), what about Larry Mullins? Rossi was good, but not great. Don't know much about Nick. But, other than that it looks great:Thumbs:

The ones you mentioned that played from 2002 on (Mason Hall, Ryan and Ethan Johnson, Wes Akers) don't compare with the Mikie Hall or Rusty Tacket or even Stumbo!!!! They were some great players, who were at the top of the region, both individually and their team.

Mikey Slone? There is no way. He wasn't even close to the best player on his team his senior year, Neil Allen was. Jeremy Hall, Shawn Newsome, Thomas Jenkins, and Bruce Mullins are probably right, but i would put probably 50 players at AC higher than Mikey Slone.

Mine would probably be
PG- Jeremy Hall
SG- Shawn Newsome
SF- Phil Slone
PF- Thomas Jenkins
C- Bruce Mullins

Some reserves would be Larry Mullins, Mark Martin, Jeremy Hayes, Nick Samons

From Mason Hall on down don't even half way compare to the top 6 you have mentioned. Ryan Shannon was probably the best I seen, followed closely by Mikie and Rusty. Tyler Hall could shoot the lights out of the gym, and Jimmy Stumbo was a wide body that no one could do anything with. I don't think I ever got to see Jason Shannon, but I have heard he was good also.

Ryan Shannon was quick but Mikie would have eaten him alive in HS, not sure I could say the same in college but in HS hall was BY FAR above anyone else. As far as Shannon and Tackett I would probabily put Shannon ahead and agree with you there. Rusty was a good HS player but I think he was somewhat overhyped and was somewhat slowfooted. Played really hard but never really had the talent that Hall, Meade, Shannon and some of the others had although he was probabily better fundamently. He's still top 5 however.Stumbo was a monster in HS. He was so much bigger than everyone else. Tyler was the best shooter to play there but not top 5. I like Hall,Stumbo,Shannon,Meade, and Tackett.

 Not Sure what this is all about, but Mike Slone is easily one of the top 10 players to play at AC.

How could you think that? No offense to him, but he averaged what, 10 ppg his senior year? and maybe 4 or 5 rebounds? He didn't even play varsity til his junior year, and wasn't the best player his junior or senior year. Shawn Newsome was his junior year, and Neil Allen was his senior year. He couldn't be on the same court as a top 10 player at AC. Saying he is one of the best 10 players at AC is almost an insult to the school.

Brian Akers??? S-L-O-W that describes his feet. Guards with slow feet have no room on this list. How about David Wheeler, or Brian Skaggs, Kevin Ferguson, and maybe even Darren Johnson..... Akers is a great teacher but a basketball player NOT!

I went to college with Wheeler at MSU, where/what is he doing now? Is Brian Skaggs better known as Tater?
