Dear Mr. Kemp:
First, let us take the billions and billions of dollars being spent in Iraq and invest them in private enterprise ventures and infrastructure and public education. Then, we can talk; until then, all rhetoric about this and that and the other is verbal capital vomited up on the backs of soldiers and their families...

The billions of dollars are not being spent in Iraq. There is nothing to buy in Iraq. The billions are being spent in America. You can't buy plywood in Iraq.

Let's not forget about the billions and billions of dollars being spent on illegal immigrants that money could also be invested in private enterprise and public education etc.

Of course, a lot of those immigrants are going to public schools... but let's not quibble.

It's funny that you suggest we take the money being spent on the war in Iraq (which you oppose) and invest it in infrastructure and education, but think it's unimportant to take monies being spent on illegal immigrants (who you think should have unlimited restrictions to do whatever they please) and invest into infrastructure and education.

I was making a joke... Illegal immigration is a big problem... I'm not sure that the death and injured toll (for American soldiers and those of Iraqi citizenship), when measured against illegal immigrants, carries the same sobriety. With that said, I did not mean to imply that the immigration issue is not important.
