Chad Johnson Staying in Cincinnati
#1
Chad Johnson announced today that he is going to return to the Bengals. Don't think he had much of a choice, but he seems like he is ready for the season to start. Take this for what it's worth I guess.

what about meSad I post a bunch on the Bengals forum now, and it's a hot topic on there.

Bengals are in for a BIG YEAR!!! The rest of the AFC North hasn't improved at all, and we've actually built a defense and brought in Utecht to make our offense more balanced so we can do more than just throw wide. Not to mention bringing in an aggressive D caller in Zimmer!!!!

Blah blah blah..as long as the black and gold are in the division, your Bengals are playing for second. And we all know this.

Who did they get on defense?
Oh thats right, they try to out score everyone. They will be still be lucky to make the playoffs.

Have, um, neither of you been paying attention to any of the offseason activities?

They signed Odom, who had 8 sacks and the numbers look to be better given the situation; they moved Geathers back to the end opposite Odom, which Geathers had 10 sacks at that position 2 seasons ago before being moved to backer because of injuries and suspensions; they hired a new defensive coordinator who is one of the tops in the league and whose philosophy is be aggressive, as opposed to Bresnahan who has called deep zones on 2nd and short the past few seasons; they drafted Rivers who will be a great NFL outside backer and they have Brooks back who was injured all last season, Dhani Jones will be solid at the third spot; we drafted Sims and Shirley, which either could be a run stopping force, while also causing double teams which keeps blockers off backers allowing them to make plays; our safeties won't have to play so close to the line in run support and QBs won't have all day to sit back and let their receivers run wild which makes it very hard for the safeties in pass coverage; our corners were in the top half of the league in INTs last season, and that was with THE WORST PASS RUSH IN THE LEAGUE.

Please, justify your comments.
