Sharaye Kincer does do a lot of dirty work for her team & never gets any credit, so I am glad to see someone finally agrees. She gets looked over a lot because she plays more d then she does offense. Hopefully next yr she'll get both aspects of her game together.

I do not know about anyone else but until the district tournament I had no ideal of who those two girls were. Of the two the only one that impressed me was Sexton simply because she shot lights out. But three games may get you recogonized but will not keep you at the top.

Just wondering how could you have Brittany Sexton in front of Sharaye Kincer in the 53rd district list but then have Kincer in front of Sexton on the 14th Region overall list.....just a thought...

7. PCC-Weakest team in year, yet should be runner up in district due to the experience of the coaching staff and tradition.

9. Cordia-No graduates, saw them beat Hazard handily with the little Slone girl.
10. Hazard-Lost some good players, but returning Hall and some good role players,
11. Buckhorn-Very physical and good returning group, COULD be runner up in district if the pcc name doesnt get them.

The best players at Perry Central are Cindy Kilburn and Jessica Melton. Steph Hamblin is coming back from Bryan Station so PCC will be back.

PCC will not be weak. They will be young. Keep your hopes up and pray that they are like you think. They have a 7th grader that is probably the best big man in the entire region. Kayla Rankin. Whitney Back is as tough as they come and she will be in the 8th grade. You throw those 2 in there with Melton, Kilburn (Who has not played summer ball), Shepherd, Eversole, and a couple others and you have the makings of a pretty darn good team. Perry will walk through the district this year. Leslies girls peaked out in the 8th grade. Hazard has to depend on Hall so you know they are in big trouble. Buckhorns high school team couldnt win the grade school county tournament more less win the district. I tried to be nice on here but I guess you guys have hit a nerve ranking us 9th in this weak little region.

Kilburn has played against Knott Central everytime they have played this summer. I know she played at the Cordia team camp because I watched them play. Perry is going to be good but they will not nor never will be near as good as they once were.

No she didnt play at the Cordia team camp, I just spoke to her today. She said she played 2 games against Knott at the old Hindman gym and thats it. They split with Knott that day. If PCC gets the Hamblin girl back, just hand them the district title. Leslies girls have not improved since the 8th grade. Hazard and Buckhorn is a toss up.

I still think that Letcher Central will win the 53rd district. I just don't think that there is any team out there that can beat us. Jenkins has a better chance of beating us than knott or jbs. Give Jenkins some love too. They have talent coming back from a district runners up last year.
