Just seen a couple of members talking about it and I thought that it would bring pretty good discussion to this forum.
So which city do you like more? Why?
To me I feel more comfortable in Lexington rather than Louisville, that may just be because I've been to Lexington more but I've heard that Louisville is very dangerous but I also feel like there is more to do in Louisville than in Lexington.

For me, it's a no-brainer for The 'Ville. Lived there for one summer and it was lot better than my time at UK. Alot of stuff there I enjoy...The track, Trixies, the boat, Trixies, Louisville Bats Baseball, Trixies, all the great H.S. football in the fall. If I had to choose one "big" city in Ky to live in, it would be my choice no doubt.
Good lookin Mets avatar, by the way, blackcat mvp.
Also, the 2008 Triple A All star game is gonna be at the Bats field this year.

I agree, the only thing in Louisville I can think of that would compete is 4th St. Live and Godfather's....Definately Lexington though. I was leaning towards the 'Ville until my brother moved there and his first night in Louisville there were 3 shootings on Muhammad Ali Blvd. and a person was found dead on the street behind his apartment in a garbage bin.

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say, you like Trixies? But I gotta go with Lexington cause of the Wildcats. And women.

My wife and son live in Louisville and I'm fond of them, but I love going to Lexington for the Bluegrass Games/UK football.

Lexington for me. I know my way around it better and I'm a lot more comfortable there than in Louisville.

Ah, I kinda outgrew Deja Vu after I turned 21, lol. There is a Deja Vu in Louisville too, but one of my buddies woke up with a rash on his arm the mornin after we went there .

I think they are both great cities. Louisville of course has 4th Street Live, and the bars stay open later in Louisville. Lexington it seems like most of them close at midnight. Well some of them.

It depends on what you want! I personally like Lex better, but the Ville is a great city. Either of them beat NKY/Cincinnati but there are things there too.
03-27-2008, 10:18 PM
I like Lexington alot better but Louisville is much more fun.
