You know I find it very very ironic, that after discussing whether or not Slone could score 40 on anyone. He goes off for 35 on 12-19 shooting and 7-7 from the FT line.
I LOVE IT!!

Way To Go Tiger!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know it's true though, the only people that gave paintsville a shot was Tiger fans, and of course Kimball. However, Paintsville really came out and showed everybody why they were the 15th region champs. They also showed everybody that an eastern kentucky team, even if they don't have 3 to 4 D1 players, can compete on the state level. Congrats Tigers! Take care of business next game. If you play like you did tonight we'll still be talking about you on Saturday.

They didn't show they could compete down state tonight. Valley and Paintsville proved this early in the season.

03-19-2008, 09:42 PM
To tell the truth and I'm going to be honest I thought Paintsville would have got beat by a little bit but congrats tigers job well done and they proved me wrong
03-19-2008, 09:43 PM

03-19-2008, 09:44 PM

Yea I think they did prove it tonight and on an even bigger stage. Valley was beaten by them. They were both good teams, but this year Paintsville was better and they proved that tonight.

Great stats I didn't realize Bundy had that many. He was a little shaky handling the ball, but he made some good plays and some key free throws down the stretch.

Congrats Tigers...keep it up Justin.

If the Tigers could get these numbers the next couple of games they would be really tough to beat.

Congrats to a great player, keep it up

I agree... What surprised me the most was that Paintsville didn't have those first game jitters like most teams do when they play in Rupp.

Wasn't a hater, and was rooting for them to win this game, I just didn't think they could pull it off. but congrats Paintsville and I'm glad Landon did show up to play down state. Makes me more of a believer in him.
