Best of luck to JC and Coach Wireman at State. Congratulations!

Well not to take anything away from JC but they got a lot of calls and didn't get any many fouls called on them. PC made a run with Coleman in the game and it seemed like to me that Jc wanted her out. ( She has a broken hand btw after an many elbows and getting thrown to the ground in the beginning of the game). It just seemed like PC didnt wanna play defense.
This statement might be a little bias since im a pc fan but that's the way see it.

Spidey there is no way we can blame any part of this loss on the refs. Just so you know we did have an edge in fouls b-4 we started fouling at 8-4. So how can we complain that we were not getting the calls. Now the charge that they called on Kayla I can give you that one, I about lost it when they called that one. This was no ones fault but Butcher and the teams.

Yes, maybe just a little. Check out the foul situations in both halves; it was one-sided in the first to PC's advantage, and did you happen to notice how long it took for JC to even shoot the bonus in the 2nd? Don't even start about the officiating. Get real.

Congratulations to J C, you have a very solid team and played very well tonight. Good luck in Bowling Green. For those of you who think the P C girls were cocky and over confident, you just don't know the P C girls very well. For the most part they are well mannered non-assuming young ladies who are not the least bit cocky. It really is not so bad for the P C fans to support their girls and show confidence in them, is it? There were no shirts ordered and no school cancelled. We did feel we had the better team. However, it did not work out tonight and I guess that is part of what March Madness is all about. JC set the tone of this game as a rough bump and bruise game while P C tried to use their speed and finesse. The way the game was called did favor the more physical team but did not make all the difference. P C had their best defensive player go out with an injury in the 3rd quarter after they had cut the lead to two. Even so they still forced a lot of turnovers when they set up their press but had trouble capitalizing on them. They just seemed to get in a bit of a hurry, took some bad shots and turned the ball back over themselves. If there was one call the turned the game it was the terrible charge called on Lowe that ended a PC run. After that JC seemed to just pull away and that made them the best team tonight. Also, for those of you who want to blame it on coaching you should stop and think. Three years and three regional title games along with a state final four. We will see you next year.

Refs do need to make calls other fouls ya know....
I just dont see how its possible to break someone's hand and not get a call ...

So then if I tell you that before the game when JCs coach was standing outside the locker room waiting for his team to dress, and PCs players came down through there and said something like, "Are you ready to get beat down tonight?" are you still gonna say they weren't cocky?

Was Wiremann standing right outside the locker room at this time?

Yes, and he was quite shocked at the boldness that the girls displayed.

They must of yelled it across the expo because their locker rooms were on separate ends of the floor
And yes it was colemans hand that was hurt .. Idk if its broken or torn ligaments

And they run out of two different tunnels.

It came from Wireman himself; PCs girls had walked from their locker room through the curtains; aren't their curtains down on past the locker room that JC was in? Anyway, Coach Butcher was not with them, but when they walked back through he was with them, and they didn't say anything.
Trust me, Wireman isn't going to make this up. He's not like that, and he respects PCs team. It's really not a big deal - kids are kids - he just was shocked at their boldness.
And, I hate that the girls hand was broken, but we honestly had no idea.
Listen, I was just stating what happened. Believe me or not; I don't care - it happened. I'm not stooping to your level; I'm proud of our girls. They deserved the win. Go ahead and hope we lose. That just shows your lack of class. We supported PC last year in the state tournament and were really proud of them.

It looked like they meant to do it from the beginning considering the screens set on her and #21 yanking her down by her jersey right after tip-off .. How they didnt know beats the **** out of me

Oh, get over it. Jerseys were jerked both ways all night. It was physical both ways as well.
I'm done with this conversation. Go ahead and keep whining. I'm just glad that some of PCs fans do have a little sense and class. Good night.

Also every time Pike Central came out for pre-game they walked out of the end where all the Buses park. That is why I am so confused with all this. I understand that Wiremann would not make that up but I really couldn't see any of the girls saying something like that. So idk all in all I am going to support you all as you did us. The team that played the best won tonight now I am still not sure if JCHS were the better team all around but as I said b-4 they were my second pick to win it and really had opened my eyes since the last loss to Pike Central. I just want to see the 15th region do well so we can get these up state reporters writing about us.

I do not believe for one minute that any of PC girls would behave in this manner. They are classy girls and I am sure that their pride was hurt tonight, but anyone who know these girls knows that this did not happen. The deal with the shirts that is just a bunch of BS I am sure that Coach Butcher and the team has enough sense to know that any team can be beat on any given night. I think that there is alot of childish accusation being said because although PC did not take the championship they know that they are still the better team.Everyone has off nights and so our girls had one and that is what it is they lost their chance to go to state and I am also sure that they are beating theirshelves up enough so just stop the nonsense they had a good season and we are still VERY PROUD OF OUR LADY HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are still number 1 to their true fans and always will be. Gook luck to JC hope you go as far and farther than we did last year we will be supporting you all the way. BEST OF LUCK TO THE LADY EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

to slamma or who said it. it wasn't playing without heart it was having a really bad game. don't forget these girls are 14 to 17 yrs old give em a break, and if you think KK Ratliff didn't give Lowe any help i've given you to much credit for knowing a little in the past, 10 points missed 2 shots and was face guarded by 21 for JC the whole 4th quarter so Wireman must have thought she did something. Congrats JC you deserve the win.:thatsfunn

It doesn't matter where teams walk out. The 4 "locker rooms" are right in the middle all 4 side by side, separated only by a curtain in the middle of the hallway. The facility is not designed for just basketball and they are actually more like tiny dressing rooms rather than locker rooms, like for concert or stage performers. Unless you keep your voices low the team next door can hear every word said in the neighboring locker room. It is close back there and not a good place for private pre-game talk. No way to avoid other teams the way benches and locker rooms were assigned. With a couple of those PC girls nothing would surprise me.

JCentral was whistled for 20 fouls to Pike Central's 19....at one point in the game it was a 17-8 foul discrepancy.

Congrats to the Lady Eagles. Good luck in Diddle.
Lady Hawks, I love you and the coaches. Keep your heads up, the true fans will always stand WITH you!!! We are proud of what you have accomplished. Abby, I hope that your hand is okay soon. Livy, get that surgery and get back on the court. K. Lowe, good luck in whatever you decide to do. Everyone else, take a break, enjoy the off time and let's get right back to it next year. Same time, same place, different outcome (hopefully). lol
