Johnson Central Lady Eagles defeat Pike Central by the score of 60-45. Way to go Coach Wireman and the Lady Eagles. I am proud of all the players and especially a special young lady named B.B. You made Johnson County and everyone in the Gap proud.

WTG LAdy Eagles...I am a huge PC fan and I played for them back in the mid 90's but I have to say that PC gave the game away in the last qtr. They played with no heart and no one should say that the refs caused the LAdy Hawks to lose. The refs were questionable at times but they are in every game. PC absolutely sucked in the 4th qtr and I am sorry to say that they didn't deserve to win. JC played with heart and intensity and the better team came out on top. I hate to say this about PC but it's the way that I seen it. I hope JC represents the 15th well and I wish them all the luck in the world.

JC was ahead at the half and never lost the lead after.

Yes they were in the lead nearly the whole game but PC began to really lose it in the last qtr with stupid turnovers and not being able to convert on the free throws. I never took anything away from the Lady Eagles. I was just stating the lack of heart and intensity of PC mainly in the 4th qtr.

Couldn't agree more if Pike Central gave the game away it had to have been in the 3rd quarter when they only scored seven points. They made a run right before the half to cut the lead to 4 and then came out in the 3rd quarter and looked like a totally different team. I really think all the fluff of being called the best all year really bit Pike Central tonight they played with no desire.

I have to agree with you. They may have beat them twice in the season but they got it handed back to them on a silver platter!

And I appreciate that. As I had said before I will be cheering for JC because they are representing us and I hope they do as well as PC did last year.

I have never made excuses for a loss so here you go.

The problem tonight was the Lady Hawks just sucked. They could not hit a shot, played poor on the defensive end. Butcher did not change up his defense the entire game besides going into a press and pulling out of it. The help on the offensive end that normally have from Slone, Harris and Ratliff were not there. In the first quarter JCHS went man and Pike Central punded the ball inside to Lowe who had 12 in the first quarter. Wiremann made the adjustments and went to a zone. Every time Lowe touched the ball she was double teamed. It was all around Pike Central's fault point blank. It was Butchers fault and the teams fault.

I agree 100%. I was just wondering what your take was. I know that you are a huge fan as I am. Just wanted your opinion.
