Former Eastern Kentucky University baseball player Josh Anderson is thriving with his new ballclub, the Atlanta Braves. Through five spring training games and 10 at-bats, the outfielder from Eubank, Ky. is third on the team with a .400 batting average. He also has three RBIs to go along with a team-leading five runs scored. Anderson is competing with several other players for an opening day starting spot in the Bravesâ outfield.

It's nice to see someone from EKU doing good in a professional sport. Good luck to Josh!

Yeah, I think he has the CF spot locked up. Doing great and the exit of Andruw was perfect timing for him. Don't forget, also a product of Pulaski Co high school.

For some reason the Braves seem to think that Mark Kotsay is the best CF ever. However, Im all about Josh Anderson in center field.
