Powell County vs. Letcher County - 14th Region
#1
Both teams are playing very well as of late....Letcher won their district and powell fell in ot to a very impressive estill team. I think this game may be one to watch. These teams met not too long ago at lcc and lcc came out on top by 13. I think this one could go either way...i take the pirates in a close one by 1.

LCC by 9.
#3
LCC by 11
#4
Gotta go with LCC in this one by 8.
#5
Letcher
#6
No way Powell wins. Even if LCC played with 4, Powell loses. And I can't wait either.
#7
Letcher beat Powell by 13 playing bad, beat Estill by 27 at there place and is on fire right now. I like the Cougars by 19.
#8

Yeah they sure are.....not!! Powell will win in a very close, down to the wire game. Anything can happen come tournament time....the underdogs are very dangerous.

If I can recall LCC scored 37 points in the first quarter and around 60 for the half. How is that playing bad!?!? Shooting around 70% from the 3 point line?? They must be one heck of a team if thats a bad game for them. Powell just simply shut them down in the second half and fought back the best they could. If they can prevent LCC from starting the game off like this, I see Powell winning in a close one.

Lol

Letcher by 21, There are right there with Hazard and PCC
#23
I honestly think this game will be a little closer than everyone is expecting it to be
#24
Letcher by 5. No blowout fellows, it's tournament time.

I would love to place a small wager on that one. However, since we're playing 5 on 5, I'll take Letcher by 10.

I dont know where you are getting your info. from but it is incorrect. Powell was 6-10 on the road this year and 9-4 at home.
#27
Your right they won 6 games on the road but still did not beat anyone with a winning record.
#28
Letcher Central by 9. They are playi ng well and the Banks kid is showing why he is a top 3 player in this region. Powell plays hard but a little reckless. Rims tighten up at tournament time and offenses must be executed and Letcher does a much better job at this than Powell.

Well at least you admit that it was 6 wins instead of 4.
