LEXINGTON, Ky. -- University of Kentucky defensive end Jamil Paris has a medical condition that will require him to give up playing football, Coach Rich Brooks announced Friday.
"I'm very disappointed for Jamil," Brooks said. "My biggest concern is for Jamil's health and for him to continue his education." Paris, a sophomore from Gifford, Fla., remains in school at UK and will be kept on scholarship.
