Who wins it?

Powell plays better at home than anywhere else. It will be tough game for both teams, they will have to work for it! I would say who ever wants it worse!

Powell has not been playing well at all lately. Getting blown out by Perry and losing to a poor Magoffin county team and barely beating a physical Wolfe county team. Even though it is at home for them, I think Lee is playing it's best ball of the season right now and will win this game and face Estill in the finals.

I dont think Powell has anyone that can stop Charles, but being at Powell Co anything could happen. This could be a great game
02-20-2008, 02:30 PM
The Way Powell Is Playing I Would Say Lee Co. Will Win ,but You Have To Remember That It Will Be Played At Powell Co. So That Gives Them The Home Court Advantage. Lee Co. Will Not Want Another Early Exit Like Last Year. It Should Be A Good Game. Good Luck To Both Teams!!!!

If Lee has another early exit this year, I wonder will "Little Rick Pitino"Coach Wright quit for good this time. He is the star of the show on the sidelines. Works them like he has been doing it for years.

It's split series 1-1. Powell won at home. Lee won at home. But now its back at Powell and the temperature is rising as tournament time arrives. Who wants it more?
My Prediction:
Powell-72
Lee-68
My Prediction:
Powell-72
Lee-68

I dont think so..........I dont think the early exit last year was the reason he started to quit anyway...........
It will be a close game.........I think the ball is in Lee's court........If they handle the Powell pressure, they win......If turnovers are numerous Powell wins.

I dont get how you can say that lee has the better coach..??? Kyle Lively has won 14th region coach of the year two years in a row...that must mean something

Powell will have the home court advantage. And Powell plays great ball when they play at home. Powell by 6. Good luck to the Pirates!

It means he has alot of friends.... LOL .... Just joking!
Basketball is played on the floor - not on paper ballots. That said - IMO BOTH are great mountain coaches and get the most out of their athletes. They would be successful anywhere they went because of A GREAT WORK ETHIC and A GREAT RELATIONSHIP with their players .... not because someone says they are great. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck to both in districts!

You have to give Kyle Lively credit for getting this team ready to contend. They are a very young team with 3 new starters. I think that they are a much better team than they was at the start of the season. But i see home court advantage a big help for Powell in this one. It will come down to the wire. Look for last years MVP Daniel Kinser to have the rock in his hands with a few seconds to go.

Lee will have to play an incredible game to have a chance at powell. Powell has the best homecourt advantadge in the state come tourney time.
After watching the first two games in the tournament it is a normal tournament at Powell. In the girls game Lee had 28 fouls and Powell had 9. In the second game, the refs were the ones I predicted would call this tourney. I suspectto see two of the three tomorrow night. The advantadge for Lee is they know what to expect. oh by the way, the clock messed up tonight in the boys game , I recall earlier in the season predicting this to happen.
