The sad thing about it is, in the 53rd district, 2 teams will not even advance to the regional tourney that would have had a legitamate shot at winning the 14th Region also. Can't remember the last time that a district has been so tough from top to bottom

What's with the part I've bolded ? Hazard doesn't foul but Letcher does?:confused: That many free throw advantage would be hard to overcome by anyone, especially in an OT game.

54th district was loaded in the mid '80's and early '90s. Until someone besides JBS wins the region then I'd give the nod to the 54th of that time. I agree though the 53rd has 4 teams that are better than any team in the 55th or 56th districts in 2008.

Congrats Hazard! LCC, IMO, has been the biggest surprise in the 14th this year. I think they will win out the rest of their games and will be tough to beat in the tournament. JMO
