This was a thriller in my books. Michael Burchett pulled up for the jumpshot with around 5 seconds remaining in regulation, Betsy Layne drove the length of the court and Brennan Case nailed a floater to send it to OT. In the end the Bobcats were able to pull it out.

Congratulations to both teams on a **** of a game.

Was a great game i was there Jordan Hall shot 4-7 from 3 if im not mistaking.
Finishing with 15 pts. played very well.
Michael Burchett sent it into Double ot sinking a 16 ft. and G-Nat Stephens played well sending it into ot.
Samuel Keathley played real well so did Brennan Case.
Thats all the stats i know feel free to add more.

Give the Blackcat fans (Student Body) Credit. They get under every other team's skin that shows up to play @ PBurg. That is what Home Court advantage is all about. I don't agree with SOME people's judgment that the Refs are ALWAYS on the Blackcats side when they visit Pburg but, that ONE probably Most Important call of the night WAS made in their favor tonight. "KARMA" It really didn't matter in the end.

ist that the job of a student section? getting under the other teams skin i mean come on. Just cause our students care about our sports doesnt mean we need at attitude check. keathly was asking for the student section to start one him by call one of our students a fat***.

I have seen 1st hand now that if the Betsy Layne team did Half of what coach Hall asked them to, they would be at Least 58th Dist. contenders if not 15th Reg.
Say he doesn't have control of them if you want but, you can only play the hand that is dealt you. That is where I think coach Crisp has made his mistake. He has just come under the assumption that his players are going to do what THEY want &, if THEY play a bad game, they lose.... If THEY play a good game they win. Yep, he has a couple of inbounds plays for them to run & maybe a offense or two but, that is the extent of it.

well, maybe quite a stretch but, I see them in great position to some really good Offensive & defensive plays & then BOOM, they go another direction.
That's one of the frustrations of being a 1st year Coach. Your Seniors & possibly your Juniors are going to do their own thing. There are no consequences (Immediate ones anyway) in their minds.

Prestonsburg blew this one, the shot Hall took late in regulation blew my mind. He cannot create his own shot. He is one heck of a spot up shooter but off the dribble he is ineffective and the shot made no sense considering they had held the ball for nearly a minute anyways.

IMO it was an exciting game overall. Both teams never pulled away until the very end were besty layne put everything to rest. It was a lot of fun to be there. I never make fun of the other teams players nor do I pay much attention to it. I wanted to watch a good game and I didnt get disappointed. Thats all that matters to me.
