Wow, it would be awesome to see Paintsville vs Hazard in the finals!!!! Hope the predictions are right!
#3
Both teams did survive the "so called" untouchables, in way. Paintsville made it out of the 15th Region when Shelby Valley was supposed to steamroll everyone. Hazard beat WYMT's favorite team, JBS. Congrats to both teams, I hope is an E.Kentucky Final.
#4
I hope that dont happen. If Paintsville and Hazard are in the finals, then the rest of the state will figure out way to keep Eastern Kentucky from playing in it. But it would be so good to see that happen wouldnt it? I bet Richmond would be overrun worse than normal with hillbillies and rednecks.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

LOL Smile Smile Smile Richmond wouldnt know what to do will all of us.
Now it would feal like playing at home with those 2 in the finals.
#6
WOW! Wouldn't that be great. But, everyone knows as well as I do. When it's one and done, You never know what is going to happen. Good Luck Tigers!
#7
Does anyone have the times for Fridays game's?
#8
I did hear that Paintsville plays at 10:30 on Thursday and then ( if they win) 5:00 on Friday. I didn't hear Hazard's schedule.
#9
Id say the Eastern KY teams will go down though.

Would be wonderful to see two mountain teams in the finals!!! As for the hillbilly and redneck statement, where are u from? Most of us mountain hillbillies are the best and caring people in the country!!! GO DAWGS AND TIGERS!!!!!
#11
I don't see Hazard going very far.. lol
#12
I really hope there is an all mountain final, it would be great to get a little more recognition that we can play with other teams outside of our little section in the state. Some teams have proven it in various tournaments, but for it to happen at a fairly large event would be great.

I am a proud East Kentucky hillbilly.

I completely agree with this
#17
Would love to see the Tigers bring it home.
#18
There is no telling who will win their games and who won't. Paintsville has as good a chance as anyone, but there will be a lot of talented teams and the Tigers will have to play 4 really good games. I wish them the best!! Yes, it would be great to see Hazard and Paintsville in the final, but even though both could get there, a lot can happen in between.
#19
Barring Paintsville winning all their games, they will play on Thursday @ 9 am, Friday @ 5, Sat. @ 3, and the championship game Sunday @ 3. As for Hazard, if they win their games. They'll play on Thursday and Friday @ 9:30 pm, Sat. @ 4:30 pm, and again the chapionship game is Sunday @ 3. Should be an interesting tournament, as always. And the tournament is laid out nicely for the making of a Hazard/Paintsville final, but the young men will have to take it one game at a time and who knows what may happen!!!!!!
#20
wow go paintsville...i hope this is how it happens..good luck!
#21
i dont see paintsville getting past Unv. Heights.
#22
I don't see a lot of things, but it still happens. Good Luck Mountain teams!!
#23
Best of luck to all the Mountain teams especially Paintsville... Represent the 15th well.

Smile Smile Very true. I will not be able to get away from work on Thursday to make it to the game. Maybe WKLW will get their live feeds working so I can listen to it from the desk. Does anyone know if 98.9 is going to be doing the games as well?
#26
I see the main challengers for Paintsville and Hazard to be University Heights, Metcalfe County and Pineville. There are some very good teams in the field this year. It should be a great tournament.
#27
That would be great to have an all mountain final with the 14th squaring off against the 15th for mountain supremacy!
#28
6-2 first round....not bad.
#29
I wish JBS would have made it.
#30
3-1 second rd.
9-3 overall.
Tom. will tell the tale! But pretty good so far.
