Sheldon Clark 90 - South Floyd 65
#1
Final

SF was without Turner and Marson due to Illness..but with the way SC shot the ball tonight it probably wouldnt have been any different...I bet SC hit 15 3's tonight...They had like 8 in the first quarter i kno...Im glad they stopped there, because i didnt wanna have to take my shoes off to countSmile...Congrats SC...SF has no heart, they think there beat before they even step on the floor...Whoever has the ball is gonna shoot it, no matter where its from or if they even run the offense...They dont play together and simply JUST DONT CARE!!!...

pretty good game by the cards that is what you are suppose to do against teams like this....they sure as heck didn't take it easy on them...sc was also without 2 starters...
#5

Poor raiders, this has been a long year for them, and doesnt look any better, maybe better luck next year
#9
they have one kid that can shoot the lights out from behind the volleyball line

He is a decent shooter, but shoots a little too much. Plus, no matter how good he shoots, they are never in the ballgame.

There player moral must be bad to because at one point in the game one SF player was saying everything in the book to another Sf player and this went on almost all night

yeah there is nothing positive about this season for them, they argue on the floor, dont get along and dont even try to play as a team. thats why they are never even close to being in a game. watched about 5 of their games so far, and not impressed with a single player even the slightest bit. hopefully with their youth with potential, they can rebuild over the next couple of years

I heard at the end of the game there middle school team plays in the county championship game tomorrow.
But they looked bad on the floor and i know it is horrible to say but it is the worst team I've ever seen play. They just didnt play as a team and they acted like they didnt know what they was doing on the floor they had of turnovers off of the simplest of things but im sure next year will be better for them.
Do they have any kid that can play coming up from the middle school.

Yeah, they have an 8th grader(Brandon Marson, best player in floyd county) that usually plays half the game, but didnt play tonight and they also have a few more that will help in a year or two, one of there feeder schools is also in the C-team county champ.(Mcdowell) and they have a really good 6th grader...They was without a freshman Shannon Turner, who usually starts, but was out tonight also due to illness...Hall the blonde headed kid is also a freshman...They also have a pretty good sophomore that started a game or 2 last year, but hasn't played all year due to injury in Tommy Joe Hall, good shooter and ball-handler..

I think Freddie Ousley, who plays center for the middle school has some potential to be a good player when he gets to high school next season. Tyler Moore is an athletic guard/forward who could also help out down the road for the Raiders.

I haven't seen any of these boys plays. But the class of 2009 went undefeated in county conference play and won the Floyd County Tourney as 8th graders. Now-just a few years later and SFHS can't win a game. For whatever reason- it seems that these boys quit playing or leave SF. A successful middle school team doesn't insure a successful high school team. SF needs to develop the middle school players and KEEP them playing at SOUTH FLOYD on the high school level. South Floyd has seen their share of talented players- that just have to keep them playing at South Floyd.

South Floyd Middle Schools success should translate into success for the high school eventually.......a sucessful middle school team should become a successful high school team.........

they went 14-0 in conference and 18-2 overall loseing to Allen Central and cant member the other and the reason i know this was because i was one of the 14 8th graders on the team and of the 14 there was there is only 5 or 6 left

Adam Slone - Betsy Layne (6th Man i think)
