Josh Lemaster hit a bomb in this game, it was a two run home run. Hey gipper Chris Hess won this game for you.. He throw five innings and gave up 4 hits and struck out 6 and gave up one run in the 1st inning. Prestonsburg didn't show me anything tonight, they pitched their best pitcher, Brenton Hamilton and he got hit hard early and literally, he was struck by a line drive in the hip in the 1st inning. He went out after two innings and went to play third. P-burg brought their CF into pitch. This kid threw very slow and was succeful for about 2 innings until the hitters got to face him the second time. Bryan Fairchild had the hit to end the game and he hit a single into right field to bring in two base runners.

THIS seems to be a little more personal to someone who IS a Sheldon Clark fan than it should be. I don't have nothing against CHRIS HESS I like the guy personally, just don't think he's as talented as you seem to think. Thanks Chris, I'm glad you think of me enough to dedicate a game to me.

Once again I am not a SCHS fan, I am anti PHS. PHS is family to me so I am pulling for them every game. When reading you post it seems that you dislike the kid and I am glad to see that you dont, I still think he is a very talented pitcher and catcher, but a horrible hitter, he went 0-2 yesterday and had an intenital walk, and 2 of those at bats were against the very weak pitcher that came in on relieve. I hope he didn't deicate this game to you, I just said that to get under your skin, I would like to meet ya gipper.

Anti means against. If YOU'RE anti PHS how could they be family to you. Well sorry you misunderstood me btw he is better defensively than at the plate. Which means he's terrible at the plate. You were the one who said it was for me I thought maybe you and CHRIS HESS had a disccusion about the dedication to me. Hey balco anytime anywhere you name the alley and I'll be there.

Season is still young... but still a 10 game winning streak for Prestonsburg in baseball is amazing. They're showing that they're actually a pretty good club this year... good job guys.

I am new to this site, but are there any rules to blasting athletes like this quote or the others. From what I know Chris Hess pitched a good game and where these things about him being stuck on himself are coming from, who knows, that is your alls discussion, I am new and wasn't here when that started.

This is not the first discussion about Chris Hess about something other than his performance in a game, etc. If you have a problem with him as a person you should take it up with him. BGR isnt the place to say things like "he has issues". Do you perhaps have a grudge against him?.....Let it go and lets look at stats, wins and losses, etc. From what ive seen in games, Mr. Hess is a solid pitcher and catcher. He gets the job done and that's the bottom line. He might not win Mr. Baseball but hes a solid pitcher and an asset to the Paintsville Baseball team.

People have a problem with Chris because his attitude. I've attended games of paintsvilles and can clearly see this kid has issues. Nothing personal. Your entitled to you opinion..just as I am.

Chevelle I knew you had a hear, share a little with Gipper. Only kidding, I am sure we all agree on lots of things. Talked to an umprire tonight which I played against in high school. Some of you may know him, they call him Smokey. If you have ever seen an umpire scream to the top of his lungs and let out a STRIKEEEEEE with a fist pump that would be him. Anyway to make a long story short, we talked about his umping this season then we talked about the game he umped tonight, which was South Floyd and Paintsville. Dont know the score or I would post it but I know it was 5 innigns and Paintsville won. What we talked about was the Paintsville kids slinging helmets and bats and other equipment in the dugout. I ask him who the kids were that did it and he told me and I will not say, because I am not going to bash on any kids, but to much surpise Hess wasn't one of them. Ol smoke said "he stuck out looking and went in and put his stuff on and came right back out, like he didn't even bat" Also said he was a pleasure to talk to behind the plate.

Chris Hess is an average athlete, and a good kid. I think its kind of bad how he is being singled out right now. Im a paintsville fan and i'll even admit that people seem to get on here and claim that he is a better player then what he really is, which is something that is done for several different players around the area.
