Just wondering what everyone thinks about him and his future...
IMO by the time he's done...He may be one of the best to ever play in this region..I think if he continues to improve and get better every year, we may see him playing PG for a mid-major or decent Div. 1 program...

I've said it before, if Elisha grows 2-3 inches, he will be amazing. He can already dunk the ball, not consistently, but he can put one down. He is a field commander on the floor and plays GREAT defense. At the rate he is going, he could be invited to some nice showcase camps by time his Senior year comes. I see him playing D-1, not going to Duke, but he can get to the D-1 level, he has the heart, and he's a strong young man.

Well, he is a good ball player. BUT, to say that he will be one of the best to ever play in the Region is a VERY BIG statement. This Region has had guys sign Maj. Div 1 ships and also had one or two drafted in the NBA.

Exactly, he's not a J.R. Vanhoose or Todd may yet, but he very well could be, 15th MVP as a freshmen was one heck of an achievement.

I don't know but both are on a different level that Justice though. BUT, when it was stated "one of the best to ever play in the region". You just hit the tip of the iceberg when you mentioned those 2.

I don't care. Even with "MAY" it is still a big statement. But, like I said. He is a good player and a great kid. I have seen him play since he was in the 7th grade and I love the kid. Awesome attitude and heart! I wish him nothing but the best.

Don't make it sound like I'm downing the kid. Cause that is NOT what I am doing. Just stating what I thought. Cause that is what was asked.

Well i didnt give a definite...But, he has gotten off 2 a great start...Playing in the regional finals as an 8th grader(not 4 sure if he made all-tour.), starting PG on the region champs last yr.(regional tour. MVP)...and by the way its looking this year he may rack up again...
IMO you only go as far, as your PG takes you...By the time he is done, he could have 4 regional titles and 4 regional tour. MVP's... and im not for certain, but i dont think anyone can say that...

Could is another big word. But, there are alot of schools that will be doing everything in their power to stop that. It's not easy and won't be easy. If he does...I applaud him.

The best comparison for Elisha Justice from recent years would probably be Jeremy Hall from Allen Central. Hall was a more consistent scorer and was better at creating his own shot. Elisha's best quality at this point is how active he is on the defensive end. Elisha has improved quite a bit from last season, and his continued improvement will ultimately decide what type of basketball future he may have...

Great post. I completely agree. I was thinking maybe a school like Marshall.

When you watch Elisha play its hard to believe he is just a sophmore. He has a very good basketball IQ. He just knows how to play. He's a very good shooter. He knows a good shot from a bad one, and he never takes a bad one. He doesn't force much, he lets the game come to him. He knows the right pass to make and it seems like its always on the money. He keeps his teammates involved. He is cat quick! especially with his hands. He seems to always be incontrol of his emotions for such a young player. He is a LEADER! I could say more but I'm tired now......

Height will be the deciding factor on how good of a college..

Elisha is one heck of a player and to be so young I agree he has a bright future ahead of him. Whenever I seen them play at the Allen Central panorama I noticed that he has gotten a lot bigger and stronger. I agree also if he grows around 2 to 4 more inches he will have the whole package as a player. Great ballhandling skills, can shoot the three and penatrate to the basket and plays excellent on the defensive side. Great player and when it is all said and done I see him playing D-1 ball if nothing happens to him.

Like all kids from the mountains I hope that he goes to a school that is the right fit for him regardless of the size of the school...

At 17- he probably won't grow another 2-4 inches. But hey- every little bit helps.

agree with the todd tackett comparison. spot on comment. i actually think justice is maybe quicker. possible d1 school in his future if the growth thing happens. should be due one anytime.

See thats whats messed up here. People 17 as a sopohmore or 17 as a freshmen. Thats razy i think. I never understood why people would want to stay back a year in school. Thats jsut stupid. But hey im not dissing anyone here. But he is a very good bball player

imo he is a great ball player he is only a sophmore and already college material..i want to wish him the best of luck during the rest of his high school career and wherever he ends up afterwards..
