pretty good list except i might switch belfry and east ridge and the valley and BL could be a thro up for that #9 spot....they both are young and talented, just not a top cxontender for the region right now

What has happened to Prestonsburg? They haven't even been heard of the past 5 years and then POW they come out of nowhere?? I didn't even know P-burg still had a team. lol

When was this game? The team that P-burg played was a very good team, not taking anything away from BL, but I just did'nt think the score would be that bad.

I think Prestonsburg should be in the top 5 as of right now, and if not inside the top 5, really close to it.

I wouldn't say they're in the top 5 because on this winning streak the only decent team they have played was Belfry....

Others include South Floyd(twice)Phelps(twice)Jenkins, and Cordia....

Teams to watch, the top 5.
East Ridge is on the fall, big time, Belfry is headed the wrong direction and SV has relled off 2 wins this week. Dont know to much about AC, they got killed this past week but there record is darn good.

East Ridge isn't a top five team, but they are atleast a top ten team. I'm pretty sure they beat BL tonight 4-0.

well as of right now Pikeville is rakned the #15 team in the state, but that is soon to change...but as of right now they remain my number one, closely followed by Johnson Central :wink:

So according to that, Betsy Layne should have already been at #5. If Prestonsburg beats Betsy Layne on 4/29, you probably can move them to #5. Right now the 5, 6 and 7 spots belong to the 58th district. I think, both Prestonsburg and Betsy Layne are set to play Paintsville this week, should make for some interesting baseball.

Betsy Layne is supposed to play Paintsville tonight. When is Prestonsburg playing Paintsville, I thought I read on here it was scheduled for tomorrow night, but I don't see it on KHSAA? Betsy Layne split with East Ridge, in the first meeting it was BL 16 ER 6 in 5 innings. Prestonsburg hasn't played East Ridge at all, but they have two quality wins over Belfry and Allen Central. It will be interesting to see how things play out, especially in the 58th.
