Cant wait for this one. You couldnt have hand-picked a better game in the tournament, boys or girls side. I think its gonna be a 2-5 point game, either side. Be nice if JC could keep on playing great ball and pull it out tho. Good luck both teams.

PCC by 5. Looks like Ring em up was right on target. These 2 teams are tough and will be a war every time they play with who knows winning.

Congratulations PC! Great win! Right now, I think Johnson Central is your biggest threat in the region. Anyone have stats?

PC had 3 in double figures, JC had 2. Turnovers hurt JC. One of their guards still isn't completely back from an injury. JC's center got in foul trouble way too early and only played about half the game. I'm not taking anything away from PC though. They have a really good team and Lowe is an awesome player. I just don't think JC played to their full potential. I agree that JC is PC's biggest threat.
On another note, PC has some of the rudest fans ever. One man yelled rude personal comments to JC's coach during the whole game and even during trophy presentation. That can make a good school and a good team look bad to others. I know most teams have fans who yell, but when the remarks are personal - that's uncalled for.

I know it is hard to understand what is going on from opposite sides of the gym...but I sat on the PC side and nobody yelled anything personal to the coach. I did hear one man yell to the coach that his girls were just tired to which the stat keeper yelled to the man he was an idiot. The PC fans were shocked the police immediately came out and one stood behind the coach. However, the fans were told he was placed there because that particular stat keeper was known to yell at fans and they were just making sure she kept quiet. All in all though, it is the nature of the game for some fans who get into the game to yell out. It is part of the sport. A release of sorts for some, so I never get too worked up over what fans yell out. It is usually in the heat of the moment. I really don't think fans have that much to do with the outcome of the game other than pumping their team up from hearing their fans yell, and having played sports myself I can assure you the players don't listen to what is going on in the stands. They are to involved in their game.

Well, I sat on the same side as you did, and I did hear what the man said. He made several remarks to the coach before the "stat keeper", who in fact is the coach's daughter, turned around and said to leave him alone and let him coach. I don't know where you sat, or who you talked to about the situation, but you were misinformed. In fact, the fan in question, kept quiet as well after the policeman came over. The only time the "stat keeper" as you called her, says anything to fans is when there is one who yells at her dad or one of JCs players. She's not even the official stat keeper, she was only filling in.
I'm not opposed to yelling during the course of the game, but to keep on and on during the game and even after yelling at the coach. Come on. That's ridiculous. I don't think the fans had anything to do with the outcome of this game. That was never insinuated.
However, I disagree with you because Coach Wireman has another daughter who plays, as I'm sure you know, and she heard the fan yelling at her father, too, as did some of JCs other players who were upset themselves.

So what was said? Did he keep saying things the whole game like you said in your first post or did he stay quiet after the policeman came? I'm not sure I follow what you are saying.

well i wasnt misinformed...i sat in front of the man and he said the one thing...that "the girls are tired coach" and that was it...the woman did yell to him to shut up and let him coach and he yelled at her that he could coach he wasnt trying to stop him and she called him an idiot...now that was all that was said...none of which was "personal"...other than the comment that the man was an "idiot". that was the only "personal" thing said...now i do know that some of the boys from the ball team yelled at trophy time to give one to the refs...but that wasnt personal to the coach either...nor from the man behind me. and
as for the man behind me...very nice guy...not a bit rude...and in fact was talking earlier about what a nice coach johnson central had...so...maybe you got a little too upset that night, which is also understandable. and as for players...they really shouldnt be listening to the fans to the point they can understand what exactly they are yelling...instead they should concentrate on their game....just my op though...
