Final
Clay played a great game closer than I think everyone excepted.Led for most of the 1st half. They came into the 3rd very flat and couldnt hit anything and they played a very good 4th.They will be a contender in the 13th IMO.
Scott looked good too they have some very good big men in Hundley and Jordan. Scott was too athletic and pyshical for Clay.
Congrats to Scott and great effort from the Tigers!

Alot closer than what I expected, Clay County impressed me with their heart. They played hard the whole game. Scott County's size and athleticism just wore down Clay Co. on both sides of the ball. #33 for Scott Co. dominated inside. Adams #10 for Scott shot the ball exceptionally well also. Scott Co. has got some real athletes on that team. Hard to imagine how they'd be with Mackey. Congrats to the Cards on the win. Clay County is a tough place to go in and win on the road.

Absolutely! Scott County is ranked according to another thread, @ 30th in the nation. They'll struggle to be top 10 in the STATE this year....
It shouldn't come as any surprise though, that Hicks will squeeze out every bit of effort and talent he has..... He's the greatest in the state. Hands down.

If Clay Co. would have shot the way they did the 1st half they would have took the game, but Scott Co. just kept bringing in fresh guys and Clay Co. ran out of gas. Great effort Clay Co., keep your heads up.

I think Coach Spurlock has done a wonderful job at Clay and I can see them looking more like teams of past years real soon...
