This is the 2nd game of the Bobby Keith Classic being played at Clay Co. this Friday. The first game is Clay Co. vs Reigning State Champ Scott Co. Both games are being broadcasted on wymt and should be fun to watch. Any thoughts or predictions?

Why? Im from the Mountains and I'll be pulling for JBS, Just like if any team from the mountains went down to play a Lexington school.

I think alot of people disagree with how things are run at JBS...

I thought JBS played the first game?

Lex Cath is rated in the top 5 and I hope JBS plays the kind of game they are capable of in this one. Should be close either way but I will say JBS by 5...Go Clay Co in the other game...

I'll take the Knights in this one, they are playing good ball against really good teams.
I'll take Lex. Cath. by 15.

Catholic. Probably big too.

JBS has proved in the past, and will prove tomorrow night that they can play with anyone. Just my prediction but I am taking JBS by 8.

It's nice to see teams from Eastern KY go upstate and play with the big boys. JBS is good, and I wish them luck. I remember playing Lex Cath in baseball my senior year. We got beat pretty handedly, but it made us better as a team, and it was a great learning experience. I'll be pulling for the small school from EKY. Good Luck, Crusaders.

The Knights won't beat them like a drum. I hope JBS can prevail in this one, them, Shelby Valley, Paintsville, and Elliot Co. are the only teams from the mountains that can compete with Lexington teams.

I'd love to see JBS win this game I just don't think its going to happen.
FYI, I will always support a mountain team before I would any other Kentucky school.

Then at seasons end we'll see how many mountain teams have beat JBS, Elliot, Shelby Valley and Paintsville.

I would think that they people of the mountains would take offense to that statement. Speak for yourself and the other few haters than constantly are against JBS on every thread but not the mountain people as a whole. I would say that most people in the mountains will be for JBS and any other mountain team that tries to represent the mountains when they play metro teams.

Are you speaking for other people with this statement. I cheer for every mountain team from the 13th to the 16th all but one. I hope Clay Co. beats Scott county by 20 or more. Go Tigers.

"all but one". 'nuff said.

And what do you mean?

I don't agree completely with ARC, but I can understand the way he feels. I'll pull for JBS, just not as hard though! They are a mountain team and it would be impossible for me not to pull for the mountains over a city school. However, IMO, JBS is not a true mountain team, their situation is unique and unlike any other in the mountains. To me JBS is more like a mountain 'stepchild'. I'll pull for them in situations like this one, but hardly ever in any other circumstance. Don't get me wrong, I hope they beat Lex. Cath. & I wish them all the luck in the world in the future, but at the end of the day, to me they are very different from most every other mountain team.
