I would love to go but I got tickets to go see Chevelle at Headliners in Louisville that night.

Are tickets still for sale? Who do I contact to buy them?
#5
I am not for sure who to contact. My cousin is supposed to get me one for 8 bucks in the upper part so I would say they are running low.

Since it's an EKU-sponsored event, you can get student tickets for $8 or $15 general admission.

My seats are lower level, 15 rows back and I got mine as soon as I heard about it, so I would say they are very close to running out.

If you want tickets you will need to get an EKU student to by them from the Student Government Association office, or you can buy them on Ticketmaster.com for $15.

OK, a little wrap up from the show tonight.

The opening act was Ryan... "somebody"

Didn't get a last name because the crowd was so loud and he was hard to hear.

The opening act was surprisingly good, but I could hardly hear him most of the time. Everyone there was completely ignoring him and just having their own little conversations the whole time, so it was VERY hard to hear him most of the time.

Corey Smith came out and they put on a good show, again, the sound could have been done better IMO. The vocals were not loud enough at all.

The bass player for Corey Smith was amazing....CS took a 5-10 minute break to go smoke a cigarette at one point and this guy pulled out a bow and started playing "Kashmir" by Led Zeppelin on his standup bass. Really cool.

Overall, it was good, with a couple boring songs here and there that made me sit down.
But, for the most part, it was good.
