How do you think the tigers will do this upcoming season?
05-18-2007, 06:05 AM
Paintsville has lost a lot from last years team that finished third in the district. So we will only be able to wait and see who leaves for JC or who comes in from JC. Replacing Daniel Pugh on offense and defense will be tough. And the loss of Sublett on defense should be hard felt.

I heard the numbers are getting there. Some of the kids that sat out last season are supposedly coming out this season. If they don't, the Tigers may only have 20-25 out this season.

they wont be good at all..maybe a 4-6 or 3-7 season..and they probally have a piejob schedule again

The second half of Paintsville's schedule looks to be tough with them playing Prestonsburg, Raceland, Pikeville, Pike County Central and Sheldon Clark.

Pie Job? They have to play, who they have to in the District and they also played you guys, Creampuff (Occording to you about their schedule being a "piejob"). Also JC, Hazard, Fairview & Pikeville. So what in the HECK are you talking about! Your funny!

I want someone to tell 'em who their "offensive" coordinator is going to be.

I think Paintsville will benefit from a fairly easy district schedule, and finish second in the district with a 4-6 or 5-5 record..the schedule they have outside of the district is pretty brutal..good luck Tigers..

C'mon let the "cat out of the bag". Tell us who the "offensive" coordinator is going to be.

PCC had a new coach last year with a new system, and I thought they improved as the season went along, I also thank they will surprise some this year. But that's just my opinion.

Hmm... two post on Paintsville's "offensive" coordinator. Lisa dahling do you know something that the rest of us don't?

05-31-2007, 04:52 PM

You guys barely beat Paintsville last year and you are gonna talk about them havin a "pie job" schedule . You guys play Magoffin, East Ridge and Shelby Valley but we don't talk about your schedule. Just like Pburg, Pville has to play the teams in their district, we can't help that. Outside of the district Paintsville has a pretty tough schedule.

Paintsville we have a rebuilding year. Good Luck to the Tigers.

JD VanHoose, Blake Bundy, and Justin Stafford are oficially playing football this season. These guys could be a great addition to this team.

Earlier today Paintsville was beating Sheldon Clark in a 7 on 7 game until the torrential down pour started. The game has been rescheduled for Thursday at 3:30 at Paintsville (practice field).

Who's the quarterback going to be this year?
06-06-2007, 07:01 AM
Paintsville lost a lot so I would say that JTA is trying to pull kids off the street to play right now. I think they are still the second best team in the district. BUt they have a ways to go to catch back up with Pikeville.
06-06-2007, 09:35 PM
VanHoose will be the Qb for the tigers...
06-07-2007, 09:59 AM
What if Corey Adams decides to play. I heard he was gonna play and if memory serves me correct, he was DP's back-up two seasons ago before bein injured.
06-07-2007, 09:08 PM
What positions will Vanhoose, Bundy, Stafford and Adams be playing?
06-09-2007, 05:10 PM
Paintsville has some really good athletes out. They will be a strong challanger for the district championship and with some luck could make a nice run in the A playoffs. The passing game with Sheldon Clark went about as expected with SC coming away on top. The addition of some of the Tigers' basketball players has made a huge diffrence.

I only watched a short while, but only saw defensive stops once for each team. Heard Paintsville won the scuffle as well. Heard that from a SC fan.
