UK v. Louisville Football

Even with the home field advantage, and the game being played later in the season, can UK pull off the upset?

I want UK to win but I don't see it happening. UL should be pretty tough this season.

Louisville will be tough, although I dont see them being as good as last year, I see them beating UK 42-21 or somewhere around there

It will be a much better game this year I call it a toss up at this point. It will be interesting to see how good Brohm is without a few of his weapons from last year.

I don't mean offense to this and I hate Louisville as much as anybody but Brohm didn't lose any of his weapons from last season. They return a lot of good running backs minus Kolby Smith and return all the receivers. Their defense will be slightly down but the offense will still be pretty sick.

I was thinking he had couple receivers graduate.

Nope, just the running back Smith who contributed last sesaon. All receivers are back including Douglas and Uruttia.

If the defense doesn't really step up, they are liable to get served with a BIG heaping helping of UL offense.

Call me crazy Alfus, but I was at the Music city Bowl. I mingled with the players for a period of about 2 hours while there, and i watched them rip Clemson a new one. That was a different team at the end of the year then at the beginning, and you could see it in the way they carried themselves on and off the field. They learned how to win. UK will win this game...maybe BIG.

Even though I am hoping for a UK win I still think the Cardinals will be to much. I think Louisville has more talent than Kentucky when it comes to their depth. I think the Cats have just as much talent in the 1's, but the 2's and 3's of Louisville are much more talented. I'm not saying UK can't win because if UofL stumbles on offense and UK gets some stops; look out because The CATS will be able to score I think, but I think if UK plays well and UofL plays well then UofL wins.

On a side note this would have been a good year to get Louisville the first game of the year, since they have a new coach; but it is not the first game of the year this year. Darn it.
