Gillispie comes in full of ethusiasm, energy and with the backing (for now) of most of the UK faithful. That can only help.

You could say it was stubborness, I could say it was because he was a good person, but ultimately it's opinionated.

Opinions have equal merit when it comes to the
right to express them, not when it comes to
accuracy. All I was saying is this: I know lots
of "good people" who have a stubborn streak. It
can be a strength; it can be a weakness...it depends
on the situation. I think OTS felt "hurt" by what
he saw as unfairness on the part of the Big Blue
Nation. He basically hardened his head and heart
toward any changes he felt that were coming from
that direction.
